Huvafen Fushi is a dream island. So green, lush, and relaxed, you can walk all holiday barefoot if you like. The only underwater spa in the world was so special. Definitely try the floating salt water pool experience, it was magical. Also a stunning house reef, beautiful spacious and private villas, plenty options for restaurants and the best of all is the service. The team is genuinely caring, relaxed, fun, yet very professional and attentive. Special thanks to Nihan, but also Adam, Kadiva, Oscar, Seyelli, Erika and Noel, you’re all wonderful! From the very moment we stepped off the plane, our experience at Huvafen Fushi Resort was nothing short of extraordinary. We were warmly greeted by a member of the resort staff who welcomed us with genuine kindness and care before escorting us to the speedboat that whisked us away to their breathtaking private island. The sense of calm, beauty, and hospitality set the tone for what became one of the most memorable vacations my husband and I have ever had. Upon arrival at the resort, we were welcomed at the dock by Mr. Noel, the General Manager, as well as our Thakuru—which means butler in Maldivian—Alexis, who took impeccable care of us throughout our stay. Even though we arrived before the official check-in time, the resort made every effort to prepare our bungalow as quickly as possible, which we truly appreciated. Once our bungalow was ready, Alexis picked us up on a buggy and brought us to what can only be described as our own private slice of paradise. Our overwater bungalow with a lagoon view and private pool was serene, spacious, and spectacular. The privacy was unmatched. Thoughtful touches—like complimentary beach flip-flops, a stylish tote bag for our essentials, and other luxury amenities—made us feel truly pampered. It was the small details, clearly crafted with intention, that elevated the entire experience. Dining at the Celsius Restaurant was another highlight. Both breakfast and dinner were consistently delicious, with a diverse menu and wide selection that kept every meal exciting. The service was attentive, warm, and professional, and dining with those breathtaking ocean views made every moment feel special. Alexis deserves special recognition—she handled everything for us with unwavering attentiveness. From booking our underwater spa appointment to arranging a private wine and cheese pairing, she was available 24/7 and ensured every wish was taken care of seamlessly. Her presence added a personal touch that made our stay feel truly customized and cared for. The resort grounds themselves were incredible. We loved the saltwater infinity pool, and the overwater gym was such a unique and inspiring space. The turquoise water was so clear and inviting that snorkeling became one of our favorite activities of the trip. My husband and I had the most relaxing time at Huvafen Fushi. The service was impeccable, and we genuinely felt like we were on our own private island. The staff does an amazing job of providing luxury while maintaining an intimate, peaceful atmosphere with minimal environmental footprint. Even our departure was memorable. We were escorted back to the dock and given a warm, heartfelt sendoff by both Alexis and the General Manager. It was thoughtful, personal, and deeply appreciated. We would highly recommend Huvafen Fushi Resort to anyone seeking tranquility, luxury, and outstanding service. We left with such fond memories and truly hope to return in the future. This resort is more than a destination—it’s an experience we will cherish forever.

My husband and I stayed at Huvafen Fushi and had a fantastic experience overall. The installations, gardens, and rooms are simply beautiful. Everything feels beautifully maintained and designed with great attention to detail. We tried both the Lagoon Bungalow and the Deluxe Beach Bungalow, and while both were amazing, we personally preferred the Deluxe Beach Bungalow: it felt a bit better maintained, with a perfect layout, great privacy, and direct beach access. A special highlight of our stay was our Thakuru, Sido. He was truly outstanding: attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of our needs. If you have the chance, definitely ask for him! Another highlight was the bar: lots of great choices and an excellent team, especially the older bartender (unfortunately, I’m terrible with names), who was just fantastic. We also want to mention Adam, who works at the restaurant. He was always so friendly and welcoming. The snorkeling at Huvafen Fushi is absolutely fantastic. We saw a turtle, plenty of sharks, and enjoyed an unforgettable night snorkeling experience. We also tried the underwater spa, and it was one of the most unique experiences we’ve ever had. The massage was outstanding. Yes, it’s pricey, but if your budget allows, it’s absolutely worth it. And the yoga teacher deserves a special mention: without doubt, the best yoga instructor I’ve ever had. I highly recommend joining a morning session; it’s magical. There are only a couple of minor downsides. It feels unnecessary that water is always charged separately at the restaurants. It’s not about the price, but rather the gesture. Offering the Huvafen Fushi-branded water would make the experience feel more complete. Also, upon arrival, there were some small miscommunications with the management. Before our stay, there was talk about a possible upgrade, and we had also requested specific villa numbers. Unfortunately, neither was acknowledged on arrival. However, after we reached out by email, the team responded professionally. We also received a much-appreciated late check-out, which was a lovely gesture. All in all, Huvafen Fushi is a truly special place: luxurious yet intimate, with incredible service, world-class snorkeling, and a sense of calm that’s hard to describe. We are certain that we will be back very soon.
