Great resort near Manuel Antonio NP. White-faced Capuccin monkeys put on a nightly show for guests. Sloths sleep next to your balcony. Toucans chitter chatter at dusk. Highly recommend Monica at the Spa. Best massage I've had in months. Not close to town or beach but great place.

We stayed in a ocean view room which was large, good size beds, kitchen, big balcony, separate toilet and shower, and was clean. A/C was great. Views of the ocean was good, we had a 1st floor room, ask for an upper floor room for better view. Monkeys were entertaining and enjoyable and climb all over the balconies almost every day. We had issues with our fridge. The Ice maker and water dispenser wasn't working, and the fridge smelled like fish. They fixed ice maker and the water dispenser but the ice dispenser was broken the whole time, we were able to grab the ice with our hands from freezer but the ice smelled like fish. There was even a large crack in the granite counter top. Most likely we just got a bad room, but for the price they charge these issues shouldnt have to be dealt with. The Pool had a fun atmosphere, happy hour 3-6 daily, finding chairs werent an issue usually. Lester was a great server around the pool, we were lucky to get him everyday we were there. The weather was 90+ and the pool was almost as warm so it wasnt exactly refreshing, but not much they can do about that. The Beach was about a half mile hike, up hill mostly on the way back. The beach has rolling calm waves, which was great compared to other beaches in MA with big surfable waves. The "chair renters/lunch and drink people" on the beach felt like a mafia. If you go past this one there is another guy renting blue chairs for same price and he was a lot more pleasant and his chairs were nicer. We ate the included breakfast every morning. It was adequate. Nothing blew my socks off. The cook was a grumpy woman, I dont blame her, cooking over a hot stove in 90 degree heat everyday would make me miserable also, but a smile or a "good morning" would be nice. Never ate at the restaurant for lunch or dinner but we did have snacks around the pool and they were good. The resort is built on a steep hill and parking is tight, but we never had an issue getting a spot. All the employees were friendly except for the breakfast cook. Location wise, it has the beach and is a narrow winding 5 minute drive to town with tons of restaurants.

Rooms were large with a nice rain shower. The monkeys come up to the patio - best view of the forest and the beach. Staff was great shoot out to Dereck Alex, Javier and Wagner who runs the pool bar smoothly. Thanks, to them for making this vaca memorable.

This was an excellent hotel. Warm welcome by the staff upon arrival, spacious room with a gorgeous view, wildlife in abundance (evening visits from Capuchin monkeys) and walking distance to Biesanz beach. The breakfast included with our package had a lot of variety and was just what was needed to start the day. The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool was wonderful for relaxing after a long day touring the area. All the staff were exceptionally kind.

Very attentive staff and great amenities. We loved using the adults pool and the private beach access. The rooms are very nice and have a great balcony. The monkeys were very active around sunset. Would definitely like to stay here again when we’re in Manuel Antonio
