!Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose!
A great return 40+ later. Everything has changed and nothing has changed ! After a complete overhaul and modernisation, our return to LM was marked by familiar friendly and attentive service, great accommodation, tasty and sensibly priced meals and some much needed SUN ! Marbella may not be for everyone but for a near septuagenarian we'd recommend KLM which after a fairly short and direct flight and a warm comfortable and affordable welcome, allowed us to recharge our Uk sunstarved batteries!!

Kimpton Los Monteros: Must-do when in Marbella!
Amazing hotel. Brand new, just 10min to La Plaza, sensational service and friendly people who really make you feel welcome. From Viviana at the reception to the concierge, the staff at the pool, the cleaners, bell boys, valet parkers and the people at breakfast and the restaurant….everyone super friendly and helpful. Not like other 5 star restaurants who so obviously just want to squeeze out the max amount of money of you and don’t provide any or just lousy service in return. Highly recommend!

Lovely vibe hotel
Had an enjoyable week. Hotel is very stylish and clean, beautiful landscaped gardens and we enjoyed hanging out by the pools. Loads of little areas to explore and the sunsets at the rooftop bar and pool area beautiful. Breakfasts were delicious, everything you could possibly want and good coffee! Staff very friendly and helpful. We also played paddle which was excellent. Only negatives would be we didn’t enjoy other guests smoking in the external areas, especially when eating at Azul bar. It would also be nice if there was some more low key evening meals available in the hotel, the restaurant is lovely for a special occasion but as a family we didn’t want to eat there every night so had to venture out which wasn’t always welcome after a busy day exploring.
