Nobu Hotel Marbella

My wife and I stayed at the Nobu Marbella Hotel from Sunday Aug 31st to Sunday September 7th. We stayed in suite N32, top floor just in front of Cipriani. The Puente Romano Hotel and resort is incredibly beautiful, amazing buildings with a charming villa feeling. While most of the resort is not Nobu the rooms closer to the plaza are Nobu rooms. Nobu begin flying their flag about 7 years ago, offering a more modern twit to the resort. Over the years more of the "Commercially Hyped" restaurants/clubs were added, and the plaza eventually became an open-air club with a DJ and super young crowd. The problem is that this open-air club plays until 3:00 am and the rooms (which were not projected to hold the noise) hear everything as if you were inside the plaza...We could not go to sleep any night before 3:00 am, we lost breakfast (which we had paid for) every morning because once we finally fell asleep, we overslept passed noon....every day. I have stayed in some of the most amazing hotels over my life and I can attest that (other than the beautiful buildings and the price) the Nobu Marbella is very far below every experience I had. If you are a discerning adult over 35 this is not the place for you. this is a hotel managed by young kids catering to wealthy kids...the service is below par, you ask for things that don't get delivered, and even booking through the concierge is a long process. None of the people you call take responsibilities and keep sending your call to different areas of the hotel.... simple things like asking for a coke to be replaced in the mini bar was painstakingly difficult... If you want to relax and enjoy please consider the Marbella Beach Club, even though the room are more expensive, the quality of treatment, staff, and even lower restaurant and beach club prices will more than make up for this difference. As they say true luxury and old money is quiet.... this is a place for neither.... This experience has ruined my view and patronage for the Nobu brand

Totally amazing stay at the hotel. Room was pristine and large with welcome goodies. All the restaurants were outstanding and the best breakfast ever experienced in a hotel at the Chirinquita on the beach (and we have stayed in some outstanding hotels) Staff couldn't do enough for you and anything you needed was provided by an excellent Whatsapp message system. I can't wait to come back and will definitely be choosing Nobu. Superb.

Overall, we enjoyed the property and the service, but unfortunately there was one incident that disturbed our experience. At around 2:30am during our stay, someone knocked on our door claiming to be from housekeeping and delivering dry ice. This unexpected disturbance woke us up in the middle of the night and left us feeling quite unsettled. It did not seem appropriate for staff to knock at that hour, especially without any prior request from us. We wanted to bring this to your attention so that you are aware and can ensure other guests do not encounter a similar situation in the future. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. We otherwise appreciated the hospitality and hope that this matter can be addressed.

Truly remarkable. From the moment we arrived the Nobu staff wowed. Pool options were fantastic. Beach access and food options on the property are unrivaled. My wife became sick near the end of our stay and the staff ran to a pharmacy to get her medication. Beyond grateful for this experience and for the hospitality.
