About the Hotel
Strategically located next to a typical Mayan community, Hacienda Santa Rosa welcomes guests to share in their culture and traditions. Surrounded by charms such as the Celestún Biosphere Reserve, Calcehtok Caves, and Oxkintok. In 1998, the Hacienda was restored and transformed into a hotel with the vision of providing a full immersion into the historical and biocultural richness of the Mayan world. After a meticulous restoration process, the original architectural features were preserved; ancient Mayan construction techniques and materials were reclaimed. Adapting spaces for hotel functions, the splendor of the past was preserved, respecting existing proportions. Upon arrival, you'll notice the celestial blue of the Main House, where the atmosphere of the sisal haciendas has endured. In the Main House, you'll find the exclusive Taller Maya boutique, featuring creations designed especially for our guests, connecting Mayan wisdom with contemporary design and supporting fair trade.
The spa, also located in the Main House, our spa therapists possess ancient Mayan knowledge called "sobada," with the ability to heal through their hands. This unique technique not only offers guests a healing process but also immerses them in a magical experience. Here, the rest of the spirit merges with the millennia-old tradition of the Maya, creating an environment where well-being intertwines with ancestral heritage.

A wonderful experience!
We had a wonderful experience at Hacienda Santa Rosa. The staff is kind and courteous. The food was delicious. The rooms and bedding are comfortable. A true paradise for resting and visiting nearby attractions. We will definitely be back.

Great place to relax
We spend a couple of nights at the Hacienda. The pace is very nice and romantic. The pool is beautiful, the rooms and the whole building well furnished and decorated. In the restaurant, Alexis offered exceptional attention and service. If you are looking for a nice place to retreat a couple of days or for a relaxed hangout base for visiting the surrounding archaeological zones and villages, this is a very nice option.

A hidden gem in the heart of the Yucatan
Absolutely loved our stay at the hacienda. Everybody was so friendly and tolerant of my awful Spanish! Caesar gave us a really interesting tour and history of the hacienda and it was amazing to hear his plans for things like English lessons in the village (how did the first lesson go Caesar!?) The food was delicious, cocktails great, the room was amazing with a really comfortable and huge bed. The pool wasn’t too cold at all, and it’s so pretty. The hacienda was a perfect quiet secluded hide away, but still within reach of places like cenotes and Uxmal.

Perfect spot to relax and unwind!
This Hacienda is stunning and completely relaxing! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms elegant. The two pools are perfect! The restaurant serves delicious food and the drinks were perfect. The bedding is comfortable and the linens very high end. The staff is kind and helpful!
