Crown Towers Melbourne

Currently staying for the third time for the tennis. Worse every time. It took nearly two hours for the bags to get to the room and they only arrived after two phone calls at a time when the hotel was not even busy. Power points in the bathroom don’t work for the hairdryer, shelving is broken and air conditioner cannot cope. Also told that only suites get a turndown. Dirty coffee cups and empty water bottles left in the room. Not sure what Mai am paying $1,500 a night for or why this hotel is still in the Amex Platinum programme. Last stay we were overcharged for our hire car.

We are two adults and two children (9 and 12 years old) and stayed for 2 nights in December. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crown Towers Melbourne. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was simply wonderful. Every part of the hotel exceeded our expectations. The Premier Twin room had a beautiful city view, was very clean, and excellently furnished. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully designed, featuring a bathtub with a TV and a modern shower.“The bar was fantastic — from drinks to snacks, everything was perfect. The breakfast buffet was outstanding — large and delicious, with a wonderful variety of fruits, cheeses, pastries, and the latte was exceptional. We could easily spend an hour enjoying the food and atmosphere. The breakfast service was professional, friendly, and welcoming. The indoor pool was also excellent — spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. We felt very relaxed, and the facilities surpassed our expectations. The hotel’s coffee bar offered a variety of snacks and small treats, all beautifully presented. We really appreciated this thoughtful welcome; it made us feel the hotel is of a very high standard. Everything was delicious and well prepared. All the staff — from reception to porters and housekeeping — were kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return to Melbourne in 2–3 years for a longer stay. Thank you to everyone for making our time in Melbourne so memorable and enjoyable. From check in to check out everything was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was large with a city view, bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom had both a shower and separate bath. The location was in walking distance of many of the places we wanted to visit and well situated to tram stops if needed. The staff we engaged with were welcoming and warm. Josh, the concierge, was particularly helpful when we were wanting to find out more about places to visit. We made use of the gym and pool. Both spaces were always clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel.

My husband and I stayed in an executive suite for two nights prior to boarding a cruise. The hotel is quite large and offers several restaurants as well as a club level which we enjoyed. It is centrally located along the river a few minutes walk to the train station and to the central shopping district. We had just arrived to our room when we noticed a leak from the ceiling - whether a/c related or from the floor above we don’t know but I share this because the staff was immediately at our door to look at it and then moved us just minutes later so we would be more comfortable and so they could address the issue without disturbing us. We were impressed with their quick attention and that they were so fast with their response. Our suite was large and the bathroom was lovely. The living room was also spacious and even had an ipad and charging cords. I loved being able to make tea and coffee first thing in the morning as well. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to so many places we visited. The hotel has so many guests and yet we never felt that staff was in any way overwhelmed. They do things well and we would return.

It's amazing hotel in the heart of the town. We spend a high quality experience in the hotel, especially the breakfast and gym room. The hotel staff were so helpful and welcoming me and my family. A very recommended hotel in Melbourne.
