Grand Fiesta Americana Chapultepec

My stay at this hotel was amazing. The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly —an exceptional experience. The concierge was very helpful providing excellent recommendations and great directions for getting around the city. The restaurant was great and had a nice selection of dishes; the food was delicious with perfect portions, and the waitstaff provided excellent service. The room I stayed in was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained at all times, and had a spectacular view of Chapultepec Park. I would definitely return to this hotel on my future visits to Mexico City.

This hotel is out of the centre, with the huge Bosque de Chapultapec a stone’s throw away. We used Uber to get around; while this was easy and not expensive, it could be very slow due to heavy traffic. The nearest metro is a fair walk from the hotel, so the hotel less convenient than some others, if using public transport. We stayed in a spacious Club Room with a view towards the Castillo de Chapultepec. Our room was well serviced twice daily. We needed a second desk chair and this arrived very quickly. There was a problem with the aircon in our room - also dealt with promptly. We were able to enjoy the Club Lounge where breakfast is served and, each evening, there are drinks and a small food buffet. The lounge service was good, although some of the lounge staff had limited English. The hotel reception staff had good English. When we checked in we asked for a local map which we think essential for visitors to Mexico City. The map we were given was very poor; it was fortunate that we found a much better map in our guidebook. We did, of course, also use Google Maps for directions.

Very great place to stay. Staff is nice. I had an issue at my room and Francisco Lobato provided excellent service.

I always say here it is very clean and the service is great and the food. Location is walking distance to the park and the zoo and restaurant. We had a problem with the TV and Francisco Lobato walk me how to connect my computer to the TV.

Stay was wonderful. Alejandro helped me to top up my sim card on my first day. Carlos took me to get a different breakfast from the food stalls outside the hotel every morning. Francisco fixed my door superfast.
