Las Alcobas, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Mexico City

I trawled for weeks looking for a hotel, glad I settled on Las Alcobas. We stayed in room 43 for 4 nights. Great bright large room with everything you could need and more. The room controls are all on a handy tablet and the housekeeping service is beyond excellent. Full turn down service is offered with homemade ( they must be ) chocolate buttons in cute tins each night, it’s the little touches that makes a hotel a temporary home. We felt at home. All the staff are beyond polite and welcoming, as you’d expect for a quality boutique style hotel. Breakfast was great generally, with fresh bakery items and then included order from the a la carte menu, and service on the first few days was far superior to our last day. The stay would have been perfect apart from our departure day breakfast where our order ( by the head person as he had a jacket on ) was forgotten and after 35 mins of no breakfast we enquired. They then sent out rushed food with uncooked eggs which were ‘snotty’ so we went without breakfast. Clearly a slight on their part but that’s why our perfect trip went from perfect 100% and 5* To a strong 4.5 stars As there is no option for 4.5 it’s fair to level up to 5 Gracias Las Alcobas ♥️

Terrific property and would definitely stay again. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast options with good food. Rooms are laid out quite efficiently and while rooms are small, th bathroom is large and it all works quite well. Only minor negative is that the gym is too small with a single treadmill, etc. not a huge sin for a small hotel which more than makes up for it with charm , personal service, great location and other amenities … earns it 5 stars amply.

What an exceptional experience at Las Alcobas. My husband and I spent five glorious days celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary at this beautiful, refined, and tranquil oasis in the chaos of Mexico City. We were greeted with a smile and “welcome back” every time we entered the front doors. The front desk staff was outstanding and always willing to help with anything from a dinner or tour recommendation to a more unusual request for a room humidifier. The restaurant breakfast was outstanding with delicious/fresh food and warm, professional service. Our anniversary dinner was especially tasty and stood out among the many high end restaurants we experienced on our trip. Our room was stunning and provided every possible option for comfort. A special shout out to the following: Carlos at the front desk who efficiently arranged help for an emergent medical issue, Angel our anniversary dinner waiter who made the evening really special, and Alejandro who’s smile at breakfast every morning was the perfect way to begin the day. We have stayed at many five star hotels all over the world and Las Alcobas was among the best!

we had a fabulous time at this hotel! the location is perfect! you can walk to everything you want to do. The hotel is stunning ! Our room had everything we needed and more !The staff is amazing and the food was some of the best we had while in Mexico City.
