The St. Regis Mexico City

The front staff tried to charge us extra at the check in. We were not happy with that first impression. We called to have our room clean left for 6 hours in the morning and nothing. Had to call again. We had to leave the room to have it clean. Our bed had a huge dip in the middle. Was Not comfy. On the positive the location was good. We walked everywhere. We had an awesome time with our driver. He was amazing. Great advise from him.

This is the worst 5 stars I stayed at. We booked the terrace room for our family of 3. Prior to arrival the hotel specifically the concierge was very helpful. When we arrived at around 1pm, our room was not ready. So we had lunch at Diane, the Mexican restaurant at the hotel. When we were done at 2:45pm the front desk said our room wouldn’t be available till 3:15pm. We questioned why because check in time is 3pm. They said it was because the room needed to be ‘inspected’, whatever that meant. We killed time at the kids club on 15th floor, and finally got our room at 3:15. When we got to our room- what a disappointment! We were given room 420. The terrace is nothing like advertised on their website. I uploaded the photo of our terrace so you can see for yourself. The photo on the hotel website has a fireplace and a small tub! Ours is a little round table, 4 chairs and an umbrella. I took a peek in the terrace next door - that was the one they took photo of. We felt completely ripped off. We also wanted a king bed vs 2 queen (this was our fault for booking a 2 queen room). We asked to switch room and they were completely sold out. I can’t wait to get out of here!!! Way to ruin a vacation.

Nice stay - spacious and well appointed room, had a small seating area, separate desk and the bed was very comfortable. Room overlooked a construction site. Service was excellent, very efficient and friendly. Nice gym and pool. Would return

The best hotel I have ever been! The service is 15/10 and the room is absolutely gorgeous. Stayed during my sons birthday and they had a cake on our arrival. Had room service a few times and it was incredible. The pool was the best part for my son, shallow and great way to watch him swim without a lot of worry. only con is there were a lot of outlets near the beside table.

We stayed 4 nights at the St. Regis and were very pleased with the excellent customer service, clean room, amenities and super comfortable bed. The location is great for exploring the Chapultepec and easy walking to the La Condesa and Roma Norte areas. We would definitely stay at the St. Regis again while in CDMX!
