This is the second time we’ve been here - and there will undoubtedly be more visits. We love this hotel for a few reasons. -#1. It kicks off vacation and is a fantastic precursor to adventures abroad. #2. Its convenient to the airport, but is located in the heart of the financial district of miami and has plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel. The third reason might seem unlikely considering that this is not a resort, per se - but the hotel staff is incredibly warm and engaging. I have found this to be the case both times we have stayed here: the employees are not only genuinely friendly, but engaging alike. Being in the hotel business myself for over 30 years, I pick up on these “things” - and I’d like to mention by name two employees at the front desk / registration who were not only solid ambassador of AKA, but who also made a solid impression on me: Dulce and Ivana. Both were warm, friendly, engaging and genuinely interested in “who we are” and from my perspective, absolutely embody the true meaning of hospitality and professionalism. Cheers, ladies.

Our experience at AKA Hotel was nothing less than superb. From our arrival with Valet, entering the hotel and being greeted by the gorgeous floral array in the lobby and experiencing the genuine care of each staff member was a breath of fresh air and on pointe. Our day spent here was a 10 and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you AKA…see you soon!

The staff was fantastic, Melike and Raphael took such good care of us (and it so happens we were Turkish/French as well!). Greatly recommend the hotel, especially the rooms that are clean and modern. We come once a quarter for business, stay on average 2 nights.

I had a great experience staying here with my family! Alexis from the valet service was amazing! He helped my grandma every time he could and went above and beyond to help us with our luggage. Cesar as well was very kind and explained everything to us when we arrived. All the staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful. We loved our experience here! We would definitely come back

Thank you!! I can’t thank Paul, the valet, enough for his help. I left my phone in the Uber and he did everything possible to get it back. He let me borrow his personal phone and communicated with the Uber driver via Spanish as there was a language barrier to secure my phone for me. This took over an hour. He didn’t have to do this and went out of his way to help me. I was traveling for business and I would have been a mess without my phone. Dulce at the front desk also asked if I was okay and assisted as well. I can’t thank these people enough for looking out for me. The hotel is nice, the people are nice, and all around, I would definitely come back. Thank you!!
