I had stayed at this hotel in 2006 and have stayed here again 18 years later. I am shocked to say that no refurbishments have been done since then. The furniture in the rooms look like they are 30 years old. The general ambiance is of a motel. The carpets were dusty and old and the bathroom looked like it was made in the 80s. The service was very friendly which was the only plus at this stay. Otherwise stay away from this hotel if you’re looking for a decent luxurious stay.

Excellent hotel. Some signs it’s a bit dated but overall excellent. Accommodating staff. Great breakfast buffet. Fitness area has plenty of equipment (although free weight plates were v limited) but is in odd location (spread across former bedrooms). Location is quiet compared to bedlam of downtown Miami which is only 600 metres away but feels a world away on tone.

Lovely hotel, staff and food were amazing. Very impressed with all the hotel has to offer. Would highly recommend convenient to all that Miami has to offer.

Expected a lot more given the Mandarin brand. I have previously stayed at the Mandarin in Geneva and Washington but this was very dated. Service was nice but had a few gripes. No coffee machine or clock in the room. Also the gym was the most bizarre for a gym; they literally converted several rooms to have some gym equipment.

From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out the service was exceptional! We were warmly welcomed by Timo at check-in who answered all my questions, recognized that I was a Fans of M.O member, and made sure we had everything we needed before going up to our room. I don't know his name, but a wonderful bar tender in the lounge granted my wish of making me a purple specialty cocktail that is no longer on the menu. It was delicious and so kind of him! On the last morning of our stay, Angela from room service was kind, caring, and greeted us warmly. She delivered our breakfast on time and with a cheerful demeanor. She made sure that the table was positioned perfectly and that all of our food was perfect as well. Excellent attention to detail and very much appreciated!
