Absolutely the nicest hotel staff we have encountered in a long, long time. We live south and had a date night in the city for our anniversary, the staff greeted us with a welcome cocktail, and mentioned the anniversary, and later sent us a bottle of wine to the room. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the bathroom is really pretty. We didn't get to check out any of the restaurants or bars as it was a quick stay, but with amenities like a gym, full spa, we will be back for sure! There is a parking structure directly across the street for $7 that also had electric car chargers and was connected to the public transit metro.

Currently a guest at the hotel. Received an email from their "Concierge team" in advance of our stay. The email has no method in which to contact or reply to their concierge team. The contact us takes you to the Marriott home page for the hotel. Called the "concierge" on the hotel in room phone by pressing the " concierge" button on the phone. The person answering the phone advised that they do not have a concierge. Interesting for a 5 star property and also since I received an email from an apparent concierge team but not surprising after going back to the email that lacked any method to contact concierge. No email address or phone #. Four Seasons sent an email to us from concierge and welcoming our stay and you could actually reply to the email with correspondence. Masa & Agave restaurant average food. Seats were dirty with crumbs and floor as well. Service great. Room was average. Tiny closet (not actually a closet- double door small armoire with a tiny refrigerated drawer, small hanging area ~12" with a ironing board stuffed in the space so the tiny space further reduced but the iron and ironing board. No in-room safe. The room was clean though!! unlike the restaurant. No luggage rack. one suitcase is opened on the chair and the other is opened on the bench seat. Hooks in the bathroom are lacking for towels. Would prefer to not place them on the ground and have additional laundry. One hook that would be great to use except the bathrobe ends up hanging on top of the toilet paper and very near the toilet.

I recently stayed at Hotel Ivy with my sisters for a girls weekend to celebrate some milestones in our lives and we had a wonderful time! The staff are so positive, friendly, and helpful. Our room was quite nice. I think the rooms have been renovated. The last time I stayed there the decor was more traditional - think old mahogany, dark wood. Now it’s lighter and brighter - much more inviting. The bathrooms are the same but very nice and spacious still. While valet is pricey, it’s easy to park at the ramp that’s right across the street. For Saturday-Sunday it was $7. Can’t beat that! Location is great to walk to many places in the city or easily catch a ride share service. We also visited the Anda Spa that’s located in the hotel and we all greatly enjoyed our services. The prices seemed high at first but it’s because service charges and gratuity were included in the pricing. I’m sure some people disagree with that model but we liked knowing our all-in costs up front. The services, staff and amenities were well worth the price. I should mention that the hotel staff left a very kind note and complimentary bottle of champagne for us to enjoy in honor of all the milestones we were celebrating. It was an unexpected, and very much appreciated gesture. Thank you Hotel Ivy team - you made our weekend very enjoyable!

From the moment I arrived at Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis, I was treated like royalty. The hospitality was warm, genuine, and consistent throughout my entire stay. The front desk team — Daniel, Lisette, Shay, and Carlo — made every interaction feel personal and welcoming. Their professionalism and kindness set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional visit. Dining at Agave Cantina, the hotel’s restaurant, was another highlight. Nia was the first staff member I met there, and she left a lasting impression. Her service during my first (delicious) vegetarian meal and expertly crafted cocktail made me feel instantly at home. The following morning, she welcomed me back for breakfast, and from then on, Carlo, Angle, Shay, Alana, and Kaysee ensured that every breakfast met my specific requests — always with a smile, and never a misstep. For lunch and dinner, I often relied on the front desk’s recommendations based on where I was in the city and my cravings. I truly appreciated how knowledgeable they were about the local food scene — and how they encouraged me to explore Minneapolis on my own terms rather than pushing only nearby or hotel-based options. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a fully stocked bar and mini fridge. Bottled water was readily available from the front desk and housekeeping — a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Although there isn't a pool, there is a glorious hot tub in the spa. Mind you this is not meant for children. Now, let’s talk about the Ivy Spa — it was absolutely enchanting. If you’re staying here, do yourself a favor and book at least one treatment. I ended up having three! Amanda set the tone beautifully during my first service, and the following hydro facial and three-part body treatment were just as luxurious and revitalizing. Truly, this is a spa worth planning a vacation around. In summary: Hotel Ivy combines world-class service, local charm, and luxurious amenities into a stay I won’t soon forget. I can’t recommend it highly enough — whether you’re here for business, pleasure, or a much-needed escape.
