About the Hotel

Few hotels have a restaurant by Joël Robuchon, one of France’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs, but Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo has three. One of them is a collaboration with designer Karl Lagerfeld, who created a bespoke mythological mural to preside over the terrace pool club. Located in the heart of Monte-Carlo, Hôtel Métropole is surrounded by haute couture, legendary casinos (guests enjoy VIP, admission-free entrance to the Casino of Monte-Carlo) and the residences of royalty. The hotel itself enjoys a storied past: Pope Leo XIII once owned the property.

Having stayed here on previous occasions we decided to have cocktails in the lounge bar, nothing has changed, great ambiance and great service with drinks fairly reasonable for Monaco (the free chocolates we were given with our drinks are to die for!); We couldn't access the Bar Americain but this more than made up for it and I would certainly recommend people try it. Even on leaving, the concierge offered to take photos, very friendly, attentive, a great experience that will certainly be repeated.

Hotel metropole offers a perfect blend of elegance, exceptional service and unique atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful appointed with attention to every detail and public areas exude understated luxury. The dining options are outstanding and spa exceeds expectations. Ideally located near the casino and marina.

Very good service. Nice pool area. Drinks are fine. Good location for a Monte Carlo and Monaco ville visit. Just the lady at the breakfast counter was a bit confused that women can stay in the hotel as solo traveller …asked me, even if I told her the room number, if I’m a guest.

The rooms and bathrooms in the hotel were very old. Very expensive for this kind of facilities. You only pay for the location. Room had no view. Pool was nothing special small in size. Paying so much money in this hotel and not having access to its parking was very upseting.
