Best experience for a surprise 50th
We visited with friends and family for my husband’s surprise 50th at the end of June of 2025. We rented the brand new 7 bedroom beachfront villa and it was spectacular. The villa was immaculately done with all new finishes and a modern beachy vibe. Our butler Vernris, our chef, Paulette and our housekeeper, Celita made our stay exceptional. All our meals were perfection, drinks were always attended to and our rooms were kept immaculate. Anything we needed our butler handled for us. The resort was an amazing property with plenty of areas to explore but yet had the feel of a private excluded resort. NorthPoint restaurant had great food selections as well as Spice. We had a sit down pre set menu at the Sugar Mill for his Birthday and they did a phenomenal job with everything from place cards to the cake! We had the best 5 days at Half Moon celebrating my husband’s 50th and we could not have done it with our the accommodating staff and the beautiful villa!

-4 Days and 3 Nights -Stayed in the Estate Ocean View Suite -Resort: 12/10 -Grounds: 12/10 -Cuisine: 12/10 -Staff: 12/10 First time in Jamaica, and glad we chose Half Moon. Best resort in Jamaica and I would argue best resort in the Caribbean. Will definitely be returning.

Montego Bay weekend getaway from Orlando.
We have been to many resorts over the years and Half Moon is by far the best we have experienced. What makes this property stand out in our minds is not so much about the property, location or amenities which are outstanding by themselves but most importantly for us was how we were treated by everyone . Every employee who we encountered were genuinely invested in making our stay memorable, from the gardener tending the grounds, our wait staff in the restaurants, bellman and check in staff did an outstanding job. A special kudos to Andrea at Delmar who upon hearing that we liked mangoes ensured that we got some even on her day off. We most certainly will be back !!

We just returned from a week away at the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was a top-notch property with deluxe accommodations, supreme service and the most deliciously prepared foods we have ever had on an all-inclusive plan. We both agreed that we would return to Half Moon in a heartbeat.

From the time we got to the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, it was a lot more than advertised. The staff was more than helpful, the accommodations were better than excellent and they even upgraded us to the "royal suite." The food was first class, the choice of restaurants was great, and we enjoyed it so much. If you haven't been to the Half Moon, you really need to go there and witness for yourself why the Queen of England stays there.
