Fulfills all wishes and more!! Half Moon is truly our home away from home. I have been taking my children to Half Moon for summer vacations for over 15 years, which makes it even more special to return and see each of our friends at Half Moon. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful and special this hotel is. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is even better than the last! Paradise on Earth from the grounds, to the food, the hotel rooms, and most of all the warm, welcoming, and caring staff!! 5 stars is not nearly a high enough rating.

We had a wonderful stay at Half Moon. The resort has beautiful grounds and impeccable rooms in Eclipse. Staff always went out of their way to accommodate us and were always available and friendly. The beach, pools, and services were fabulous!!

Half moon is wonderful. Spacious, secluded beach, natural beauty, pools, great spa, etc. It’s a property that would never feel full. Excellent housekeeping, little touches, decorated every night and provided timely turn down service. Room: eclipse ocean view - 2nd floor. Enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. Assigned butlers as our personal concierge to enhance our stay. Good hot made-to-order food. Cedar Bar - local fish, soup, salad, shrimp tempura, and jerk lollipops were good. Don’t mind waiting for fresh hot food. Spices - enjoyed beef patties for lunch daily. Northpoint - Salad, shrimp skewer. Spent $80-$90 / meal. A more at delmare /sugar mill noted in a separate review. 3 nights spent avg $200/day on food for 2 (lunch/dinner, fruit for breakfast or coffee), not much liquor (beer or glass of wine), purchased snacks, red strip lite and preferred bottles of wines from a store. We enjoyed the off season prices with less people but the same amenities. Experienced the spa (scrub/massage), massage thorough and comprehensive. Will pass next time due to price. Booked half moon due to prices for S-hotel, all inclusive, that’s a very small resort, little beach and inferior room craftsmanship. We like the SHotel but not for $700/night ocean view room.

Year after Year- I continue to come to the Half Moon for not only for the amazing food, fantastic views, delicious drinks, beautiful accommodations but for my Half Moon Family. The staff at the Half Moon go above and beyond to make your stay so special. The friendly conversations and the caring check ins throughout the day are something that you will never find at another resort. The property grounds are absolutely outstanding with two main pools, a 5K walking/running path along the beach, the beautiful Jamaican ocean wherever you go, bikes, golf carts, spa amenities, workout facilities and more. The food is definitely some of the best food I've had. I highly suggest Sugar Mill for Dinner (Ask for Daniel as your waiter and make sure Stephon is making your drinks!) And for authentic Jamaican cuisine make sure to stop by the Spice bar for Patties and Jerk Chicken! A special thank you to my dear friends Omar, Ralston, Fitzgerald and Kori at the Bell Desk. Fantastic property a short drive from MBJ airport. Staff is friendly, helpful and act like they care. The grounds are amazing with 2 miles of beaches where you can spread out and relax. Food is fantastic although food and beverage is very expensive here. Definitely stop at a store for some snacks and drinks to cut down on costs.
