5-Star Luxury Experience in the Embassy Area of Montevideo
WOW! 5-Star experience at its best. Beautiful river location - stunning architecture - and a breakfast not to miss. Another special feature is the location situated in Carrasco which itself is a charming embassy-zone part of Montevideo - super clean & safe/GREAT local restaurants and walking/shopping. Absolutely gorgeous property. Impeccable first class service from entire staff. Our room was wonderful with big comfortable bed and fine linens. Excellent quality of sleep. The breakfast was outstanding.

Good location, fantastic building, and the rest is down hill.
Stunning restored property. Terribly rude service, needs attention. From the gnats at the lobby bar, to the toilet that leaks around the base to the call to the operator that rings and then goes busy, this property needs a management upgrade. When IT came to fix the phone, he had know idea where it was located. Of course the problem was not the device but the operator service. Bar tender chastised us for taking our drinks with us to the room. We had a junior suite which was well appointed but not very functional. RCA & HDMI jacks, one USB port and an American style plug behind the TV. The closet door doesn’t close. Internet doesn’t allow WIFI calling. The room layout is circular which is really not very relaxing. Reception was less than pleasant or welcoming. Hoping food service is a pleasant positive surprise. Spoke with a manger that was receptive but, didn’t seem to help with the exception that we received more hangers than the original small handful. Great neighborhood.
