I have only once before written a review on Trip advisor. The experience with this hotel was so superbly bad, that I felt compelled to warn others. It began with the failure of the hotel to provide the car service pick up from the airport. Noone was there to meet us. We eventually had to find an uber on our own. They then apologized when we arrived, and brought us to a room that had a bad body odor smell. Quite appalling. We asked to switch from that room. We were given a large room. They asked how they could make it up to us and offered dinner on the hotel that evening, but then did not communicate that to the restaurant, which lead to another 30 minute wait while trying to settle the bill. We asked for a room service menu on another day, and after 2 hours, it had still not been delivered. The hotel has a small lobby, with stained carpets. It is adjacent to a slum. Hence, there is no way to walk around the neighborhood and the views from the room have one looking over a sea of shanty houses. The poorest quality of the hotel, though, is the level of bumbling incompetence from the staff. Akin to a Faulty Towers episode. Very eager to please (bordering on obsequious) but then simply unable to deliver on anything. Have never encountered this level of incompetence. Would look at the other 5 star hotels in town.

The staff provided excellent service all around taking care of all of my needs. I would stay here anytime and look forward to returning. My on suggestion would be to open the rooftop bar a little earlier and leave the music at a low volume. It would be nice to end the business day with a visit where you could hear over the music

Four seasons is an amazing hotel to stay when you are at Mumbai. We had visited AER.Manager Noel ensured we had a great time, was very amiable and welcomming. Bartender Siddhart has a good hand at drinks. The hotel staff is very well managed and professional. If you visit Four seasons , i would highly recommend you visit the rood top lounge. The hotel is magnificient and service is outstanding . We had a lovely time.

This is now my go to place in Mumbai, and I am there a lot! The refurbished rooms are very good - Four Seasons global standard without a doubt. The bedding is amazing, bathroom well appointed, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. They have so far never let me down - and I am probably at c. 7 visits in the past 6 months. The gym could be bigger, the pool could use a bit of an investment (and can you find a way to deal with the pigeons please?), and the hotel desperately needs more common area sitting space. That Modernist club is frankly a terrible idea. None of that takes away what you get with this property, though. Very comfortable rooms and some of the best staff in the world.

Please guys take care while making reservations directly though Hotel website as they show different room on app but will allot room of base category which are available in other travel app as better price. I had to argue with them to give the room as shown on official website site and they gave me room after little argument. I really don’t understand the reason Why they hesitated to allot even it was available. Expect and rude behaviour from receptionist if you want something you have booked for. Everything else is fine just one more thing this Hotel as the smallest lobby are of any five star hotel in Mumbai. Don’t expect a welcome arrival
