Beyond Perfection
This was the most amazing stay I have ever had. The hospitality, staff, cleanliness, etc. Everything has spot on and beyond perfection. I would like to specially appreciate the efforts, dedication and professionalism shown by the staff. I would like to recognise Steffi, Marie and Aditya to give us amazing service throughout. And then Cyrus, he was simply amazing and made us feel like home. It is true, everyone at Taj and overall ambience made us feel homely & we never wanted to leave. Taj Lands End Mumbai is loosing her Tajness
Review for Taj Lands End As an Epicure Privilege member and a long-time patron of Taj properties, this stay has been unexpectedly disappointing. The experience began with a noticeably cold reception—something I have never associated with the Taj brand. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. The room allocated feels like one of the least desirable in the property: no table lamp, visible dust, and an overall lack of basic upkeep. What was more concerning was the response from the duty manager, who, rather ambiguously, conveyed that the hotel is “more than sold out” and that nothing could be done. The message, though politely phrased, effectively translated to a lack of willingness to resolve the concern. That is not the Taj way I have known. Having stayed at properties like Taj Bengal and The Taj Mahal Palace, the contrast is stark. The hallmark “Tajness”—warmth, attention to detail, and refined service—seems to be slipping here. This experience raises questions around on-ground leadership and training standards at this property. With an upcoming event tied to the Taj brand, this is particularly disappointing. I sincerely hope this is an exception—but as of now, this stay does not inspire a return to this property.
