What a unique and wonderful experience. Historic charm with modern-day anemities and luxury. A grand hotel that feels like home, thanks to the warmth of the staff. And Staff that is truly there to ensure that you have a remarkable experience. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

Our stay at the Taj Mahal palace hotel Mumbai at Apollo Bandar was truly a beautiful experience from start to finish. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and checking into the Taj was the best decision we made. 2 years ago we had a terrible experience at a suburban 5 Star hotel in Mumbai. So this time around when my husband suggested to try the Taj , I was sceptical about another hotel stay, however reluctantly agreed. But all my apprehensions vanished within the first few seconds of stepping on to the property itself . Maya from the front desk who was coordinating with me 2 days prior to my check in went OUT OF HER WAY. I am writing this in capital letters as she absolutely went all out to make our stay beautifully exceptional. She along with her colleague Vandita welcomed us at the lobby level and immediately took us to our room, finishing all the check in formalities in the room itself, which was a very thoughtful touch . To my surprise we were upgraded to a beautiful suite overlooking the magnificent Arabian Sea . The suite was beautifully decorated with balloons , fresh flowers and a photo frame with our picture together, another wonderful touch. They had got us a delicious chocolate cake which was cut in their presence while they very sweetly took some pictures of us together . Maya and Vandita thank you so much for going over and beyond for us . We will always cherish the memories we had in your hotel. We were completely swept away by the charm and grandeur of the hotel — a perfect blend of heritage, luxury, and warmth. The hospitality was exceptional, with every member of the staff going beyond their duty to make us feel at home. From the stunning views to the carefully curated interiors, everything about the property exudes timeless elegance. Their restaurant The souk which serves Middle eastern cuisine was particularly excellent. The Shish taouq and the Istanbul kabab were absolutely delicious . The Khoubz bread that came along with the dishes was also very fresh and well prepared . The berry pulav that we ordered as a side dish was superb too. Overall , the food , ambience and service are top notch at the souk, which is undoubtedly Mumbai’s finest middle eastern restaurant . The buffet breakfast at Shamiana was amazing with a vast array of dishes to choose from . The service was extremely fast . We would like to thank our server Babu who was very dedicated to his work and always quick to serve with a smile. The house keeping at our floor was very efficient . We would like to thank Sachin from the house keeping department. They have a lovely pattesaire which is a must try , where they have an excellent variety of pastries and savouries . We personally loved the cheese French baguette which is a must try and something that you will not find in other patisseries . It is in fact a hidden gem in their menu. A big thank you to Derek and Siddhant from the pattesaire . Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of — the food was exquisite, the ambiance peaceful yet regal, and the overall vibe full of warmth and sophistication. Whether it was sipping tea while overlooking the sea or simply walking through the beautiful corridors steeped in history, every moment felt special. We truly had a wonderful time, and it’s an experience that we will always cherish. Thank you to the team at the Taj for making our stay so memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Great place and awesome service! Higly recommended. Bice pool and auperfriendkg stagf. Breakfast amazing too and we loved sealounge and aquarius restaurant and the comfort of the rooms. Extreme good value dor money and even better than expected!

Awesome Breakfast, Amazing food and very firendly hotel staff. Will visit again at the next opportunity. The inroom dinig food was the highlight of staying at Taj Mahal.
