Excellent hotel in the heart of Mumbai ….this hotel is a tourist attraction itself right opposite the gateway to India …once again a beautiful historic iconic hotel ….it is a busy hotel particularly at weekends ….we stayed after a busy tour ..just what we needed great pool amazing restaurants and wonderful staff ….ensure you eat in the two amazing restaurants The golden dragon amazing Chinese best we’ve had and Loya beautiful Indian food Special thanks to Abhinav in the club lounge for looking after us …you are an absolute star and also to Amol who looked after our room always making sure we had everything we needed…..thankyou all

stayacation at Taj heritage hotel. a 122 yrs old hotel the welcome with tulsi mala and tilak displayed Taj respect for our culture. we celebrated our wedding anniversery. Special mention to Ms Urvi for decirationg our room witha delicious pineapple cake( specially made , they usualy have a chocolate cake but my hubby allergic to cholocate!) the heritage tour by Mr Percy was great. we could not visit the 4&5 th floor due to VVVIP movement. Had a great swim at the pool. Breakast spread amazing. Overall Taj Hospitality top NOTCH. Thanks Taj for a memorable stay.

We have stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai many times over the years and have had some extremely enjoyable stays there. During our visit last month we were genuinely delighted to see Prabakar again. We first met him years ago in the Sea Lounge where he was an outstanding chef and produced the most fabulous breakfasts and unforgettable omelettes. More than that though, he always stood out because of his warmth, kindness and natural way with guests. We were sorry when we heard some years ago that he had left the hotel, so it was a real pleasure to unexpectedly see him again in the lobby looking absolutely resplendent and now sharing the fascinating history of the Taj with interested guests. People like Prabakar are part of what gives the Taj its character and sense of occasion. In an age where true hospitality can sometimes feel increasingly manufactured and corporate, he remains completely genuine. It was lovely to see him again and we very much hope he is there to greet us on our next visit.

This is our second time staying here and it just gets better. Service here is nothing but outstanding. Pool area is beautiful, food choices are excellent and of course staff are like family
