We had been planning a stay at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai for quite some time and must say that this was the greatest experience of exceptional customer service we have come across. Right from the front entrance security team to the receptionist to the housekeeping as well as the restaurant teams. There was never a no to any of our queries and the staff always tried to help out. A special mentioned to our floor HK staff Avinash who checked on our well being a couple of times each day. A customer service experience to remember as I strongly believe that the staff at any hotel can make the difference and the team at Taj did more than that.

It was a outstanding experience and overwhelming hospitality. Right from the checkin the support and guidance from the smiling staff members was adorable. Our experience for dinner at the shamiyana was like never before. Breakfast on the other morning was like what to choose from plethora of options. All and all a great memorable experience at Taj Mahal Palace

Staying in the Palace is a must for any visitor to Mumbai, it`s on another level of comfort, elegance and from arrival to departure the level of service is remarkable. The property is not only a spectacular building steeped in history it is certainly by far the most clinically clean place I stay. The facilities within the hotel are second to none, the constant upgrades are all sympathetically done to enhance the guest experience. Most recently the light show on an evening around the pool is fantastic to watch while sitting under the moonlight. The choice of restaurants is so good that it caters for any cuisine and if you have had a busy day try room service, the butler arrives and within minutes he sets the table and you would think you were in a restaurant. Good housekeeping is very important in warmer countries when you are showering two to three times a day, quality toiletries and clean towels are a must. We stayed 21 nights this trip so a good efficient laundry is also a must, you will have it picked up from your room and back the same day if needed, incredible service. All in all this place is faultless, the location is fantastic and the feeling you experience entering for the first time is memorable. Finally we have witnessed so many changes to to the property over many years and we were so sad to see the retirement of Patrick one of the most wonderful men I have had the pleasure to meet. He served breakfast for 42 years with a smile to so many people. Sadly every visit another of the long standing staff is retiring, fortunately there is a terrific intake of energetic young staff to carry on the tradition of service with a smile. The service here was impeccable from hosts checking you in to the room attendants. They went above and beyond..It was my son‘s birthday. After telling them about our sons birthday they upgraded our room, decorated the room with balloons and a cake, brought him a gift, set up for all of us a relaxing rose petal foot bath. Everyone was so friendly and the breakfast had a good international variety of food. We also used the drivers from the hotel a couple times and they were great and friendly and they will wait for you if you want as well. The lobby was gorgeous with fresh flowers, so was the pool area. We also paid for the club/lounge which was really nice for breakfast, high tea, and cocktail hour. Highly recommend.
