Great location, reception still under reconstruction! Polite & friendly staff, roomy suits, Garden restaurant - a must!
Great location - city center, walking distance to all the best shops and Xmas Markt. Hotel valet available with bags brought up to the room. We had a suit on the 5th floor, spacious with all amenities . Breakfast on the 6th floor, airy well lit, buffet choice is more than plentiful, kitchen takes orders for e.g. omelettes, eggs Benedict etc etc. We had a reservation for 5 pers in the ( newly opened ) Palais Keller, four of us were rather disappointed with the quality & taste of our main course, we talked to the head waiter and returned our unfinished dishes back to the kitchen. Where you can't go wrong is the ' Garden ' restaurant, fantastic, delicious dishes, great service, we had a table for two ( back corner left side of the room - nice and quiet ). Well worth a visit!

Favorite Hotel Munich
Perfect.........Hotel is one of our favorites in Germany. Enjoy your stay, the original spirit of Munich !!! Chapeau........

Celebrities stay at this hotel
This is supposed to be one of the nicest hotels in Munich. We stayed here for 3 days as part of our AmaWaterways Danube pre-cruise package. There are several restaurants in the hotel as well as multiple restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Service was excellent. The room was well prepared. There is a small park with multiple statues in front of the hotel. Across the park is an UBER Lime scooter/bike station.

Beware of non responsiveness then will charge you while ignore your cancellation request.
Booked this hotel in July 31. Emailed them August 1, 2025 to say we had an emergency and cannot go so please cancel. Waited three months for them to wrote back. Meanwhile, Oct 29, 2025, they charged for entire stay. Emailed them and credit card disputed and everyone involved contacted them and finally a day later , they responded. They continue to respond all of a sudden after three months of silence to say cancellation period is over. Do not stay here. I will fight this to the end.

A sad experience, no personal service, nobody opens the door. the breakfast room felt like the Hauptbahnhof. the rooms are equipped with small water bottles (one sip),, 50 Euro for parking is a joke. one day the room was not made at 4.30. the internet one and off. nothing feels 5* and luxurious. I won't return.
