For the price paid there are better options
Great hotel, nice location but.. Few issues and all unresolved. AC in the room was not working and as a result at night it was way too hot. Called twice to fix it, service person came and did nothing. We had to open windows but it was 0C at night and our child got sick. Hotel manager did not honor AMEX 90€ per reservation credit. We had three one day reservations booked with three different cards and only one credit was issued. This will be addressed with AMEX. Fan in the bathroom was working intermittently. They brought a working one. Shower temperature was unstable, difficult to set. Otherwise it was okay but for the price paid there are better options around

Really central. Easy access to City Centre. Bedrooms were fabulous, Comfortable and large. Buffet breakfast, superb.

Almost perfect
Location, ambiente, service, rooms - everything is close to being perfect. Reception works like a Swiss clock, the Concierge gets you tickets for sold out events - thanks a lot! World class. Rooms are surprisingly large compared top several seasons ... Yet, if it comes to breakfast, it all ends. No coffee, no milk, no tea. You wait 45 minutes and then get - explanations how hard life is. A youth hostel´s breakfast service performs better.

Best hotel in Munich
We are from Ireland and have been visiting this hotel for over a quarter of a century. It is a world class hotel with a sublime atmosphere. Nothing is too much bother and it is evident that the staff are happy in their jobs. Stand out employee is the concierge Mr.Tim Eidinger, he goes beyond the call of duty to assist in any way he can. The rooms are luxurious but what sets this hotel apart from others is the roof top swimming pool overlooking Munich’s roof tops, it is a truly sensational view, we hope to be visiting this hotel for another quarter of a century, and thanks to all the staff for another wonderful stay - Schuster family Ireland.

The Only Place to Stay In Munich
In looking back over my 2025 travel experiences, the Bayerischer Hof immediately springs to the top of the list. The location is unsurpassed in Munich, ideally suited for dining, shopping and cultural events. The breakfast is divine. The stars of the show, though, are the world class concierge who are experts in Bayern Munich and opera and everything in between. As a repeat guest, I would prefer not to go to Munich rather than stay elsewhere.
