The guest experience at the Kempinski in Munich is fabulous. The staff is friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with excellent amenities, and the dining options are first rate. We visited this hotel in June of 2024, and it was a no-brainer to book again for our time in Munich again this month. Would never consider another hotel option in Munich.

A beautiful hotel, perfectly situated within walking distance of many great sites in Munich. We booked through AmEx which came with several perks including an upgraded room and daily breakfast. I thought our room was spacious with a large bathroom and ample storage for luggage and belongings. I loved that our room had hard floors rather than wall to wall carpet, always a perk for me. The breakfast offers a vast buffet with many hot and cold options as well as a small a la carte menu. As big walkers, we loved how close of a walk we were to Marienplatz, the English Garden and so many bars and restaurants. Upon booking we were informed about the spa closure which did not impact our stay at all, they do have a temporary gym and even offered use of a nearby gym as well if we wanted. Overall, we very much our time at this Kempinski property and would highly recommend it for your time in Munich!

This was my familiy return visit and it certainly won't be our last one!😊 We enjoyed ourselves tremendously (thank you Kempinski team for an upgrade to superior suite😘). Hotel's location cannot be beaten, it is just a stone throw from Residenze and Marien platz. All members of Kempinski team are simply wonderful, you feel truly pampered during your stay. Schwarzreiter restaurant is great both for breakfast and dinner, and so is lobby bar. Hotel has great vibe and lively atmosphere it is way nicer than neighboring Mandarin Oriental (went for dinner). Spa is currently undergoing thru renovation but they have small gym that is more than sufficient for five days city break. Pictures don't do justice to this beautiful hotel, you simply have to come and see for yourself. Generally speaking all Kempinski hotels in Germany are great, we also stayed at Adlon Kempinski Berlin and Taschenberg Palais in Dresden. Your Kempinski loyalty status is always recognized and usually you are offered an upgrade. Thank you so much Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski team for wonderful stay, We wish you all the best. It is so nice to travel Munich for the first time and I had a good time in this hotel. I enjoyed my breakfast in my room it was perfectly served by Nino from room service and as i could remember he is Filipino. He was so nice and smiling all the time. All the staff from Front desk and restaurant are nice too. I will recommend this hotel to my friend.

Our opinion is that the Kempinski has slipped considerably over the last twenty years. It was disappointing to find the spa under renovation and the subsequent public spaces not available and the pool not open. The carpet in our room is over used. We have two rooms and the carpet is consistent. In general, we would say the quality is not equal to the price and think we could easily find top quality at this price at another facility.
