Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich

Absolutely horrible service for the money. Service people were knocking in our door early morning, rooms outdated The worst reception was in the bar area. After paying that amount of money we had no priority in the bar area. Never again will stay in that place

The best location in Munich! An amazing club and a bar with great atmosphere! Very nice renovated rooms, high technology, excellent service

The location is great. Close to the main shopping area, University and main historic buildings. You can also walk along the river and a twenty minute walk to the English Garden Park which is lovely with a lake. I only explored the south of the park as the north area is enormous. The whole area felt very safe. The hotel has a curious lay out but when we got used to it we didn’t get lost. My partner was at the Conference there and it was a disappointing breakfast buffet as part of that. We had to stand up! Variety was very limited even for an event like this. Our room was quite cramped with little hanging space which was a challenge for a conference and two people in the room. We had problems with the room temperature and adjusting it. The electronic bath and shower controls were also a challenge for us! However an efficient housekeeping mostly before midday, however milk for the coffee machine was not replaced for several days and it was a bit hit and miss regarding bathroom amenities. Bed comfort was OK but the pillows were very flat and really not acceptable for a five star hotel. Breakfast in the main restaurant was good but quite difficult to find everything. Cereals were not with the main buffet breakfast. You can order eggs. Finally there are a number of steps to get to the lifts and no accessible ramp. Not a problem for us but it could be for some guests.

My wife and I wrapped up our honeymoon last week at the stunning Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten and let's just say we finished with an absolute BANG. While we were only able to stay for one day in Munich - we left wanting to come back to Munich in the near future and we would not look at another property. The lobby and the bar are absolutely gorgeous. Daniel in the bar was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. He shared a lot of history of the region between the Mountain areas and Munich itself and made us feel as if we were pouring cocktails in our home in the United States. We look forward to spending more time with Daniel at the St. Moritz property but man you all should never lose this man! He is wonderful. His colleague Paul (I believe his name was) is an absolute treasure and a HOOT. He recommended my wife and I go to this epic Italian restaurant Il Mulino and we had no problem getting a reservation on Halloween Night. It was delicious and we were immersed with the locals. Finally - Rojina at breakfast. My wife and I only had 15 minutes to eat before our 10 hour flight back to the States and Rojina made sure we were adequately stocked up for our flight home. Her service was second to none. The Hotel Kempinski is special and the people are wonderful! Would highly recommend.

We stayed in this hotel in Munich 6 years ago and this time decided to stop here again as the price offer for two nights including breakfast was really good one. I like the location of this hotel- very close to Marienplatz and street is full of shops. What i really do not like in this hotel are: always full lobby bar - you never can find a table; rooms are quite dark, there’s very little light; It’s almost impossible to reach the reception from the room by phone - waiting time is too long, better to come down and ask what you need Breakfasts are good, meal from room service is also good.
