This is our second time visiting Marina Inn Grand Dunes. We visited the first time three years ago as a splurge vacation after retirement from the service and the area of choice by my children. This visit was my daughter and I, and she chose to come back. We are so glad we did. Jenn and Michael C. have taken care of any of our food or drink requests. They are hands down the best bartender I have met. If you want great service in the morning, see Brad or Alex for your morning coffee or breakfast at Starbucks. As far as the room, it was nice, but in some aspects, you can see the are aging but didn't bother us. The grounds three years ago we gorgeous. As an avid gardener and flower enthusiast, I notice these things first. This year, you can see the lack of attention to these areas. Overall, though, we will be back as this happens to be our favorite quiet area in Myrtle Beach.

Last minute family vacation before school started...great location, beach access, and pool. Clean accommodations and pleasant, helpful staff!

I wrote a review 2 days ago but it disappeared. The facility was nice and the staff was accommodating but: The room was very dated Ripped and worn carpet Old stained furniture that dated well over 20 years Dirty return vent Had to ask for supplies TV didn't work. Had to get new remote DVD player didn't work because it isn't hdmi compatible. When asked about replacing 3x no one did anything We are HGV owners and they would never allow this When asked was the property was going to be renovated they said probably not because the owners were private. Don't waste your money

Our stay was absolutely incredible! This was by far the best family vacation we’ve ever had, and we’re already planning to return. The hotel accommodations were spacious, spotless, and gave off an old-money luxury vibe that made our stay feel special. The bathrooms were huge, and the room was perfectly equipped for a family to relax and unwind after a busy day of activities. The views from our room were breathtaking, and the entire property was immaculately maintained. There were so many activities included or nearby that we actually ran out of time to do them all. I cannot say enough about the quality of the staff here, they were consistently considerate and attentive without ever being intrusive. Waterscapes Restaurant was a standout, we were blown away by the variety and quality of the food. Every family member found something they loved, but the dessert was the real star for me. I’m still dreaming about the chocolate mousse! My favorite part of the trip was the private beach. The hotel provided towels, chairs, and umbrellas, which made everything so convenient. The beach area also had private bathrooms, changing rooms, showers, and even a full-service outdoor restaurant for lunch and snacks. It made our ocean visits completely stress-free and allowed me to really enjoy quality time with my family instead of worrying about everything. My husband especially enjoyed the water sports( jetski and boat rentals), conveniently located just 20 yards from the hotel’s outdoor pool. Meanwhile, my kids loved the infinity pool and had a blast with the games available at the front desk. We didn’t even have time to experience the golf course or spa—but we’re saving those for our next visit!

The Marina Inn at Grande Dunes never disappoints us. My husband and I have great memories there. The property is well appointed: golf course in the background; the Marina and Intracoastal Waterway makes you feel you are somewhere in he Caribbean; grounds well kept. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome to the point that you do not want to leave. Mike and Ben took care of our luggage in the way in and out. Laura at the Front Desk has a special charm. Tim, the maintenance guy was very polite and came prompt to take care of the closet light issue. Julie and Mark at Reflections were above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our food. Jason at Waterscapes was very attentive and helpful when we arrived very early to enjoy our breakfast. Tatiana, the Waterscapes host, wished us a wonderful day. Truly, the Marina Inn makes you feel special.
