They’ll nickel and dime you
Property is gorgeous but beware of nickel and diming. Went to the spa with a friend on a friday and then had lunch at Bear. Upon checking out of the spa we were informed that they automatically add 22% to the service (that’s fine) and a $50 fee for using the pool AT THE SPA that we didn’t even go in because it was too cold — after a $250 facial, $250 lunch at bear, having to pay $50 to lay by the pool for an hour is not what I would expect of a resort of this caliber. We were also told that this fee did not include use of the main pool, that would be an additional fee. Finally, they did not share this information beforehand. I have a confirmation email with no mention of the additional fees.

Almost getting into the 5-star groove - they are trying hard!
This visit was so much better vs almost a year ago. Stanly Ranch are starting to get into the 5 star groove. Attentive service and attention to detail is expected and everyone delivered it with a smile and good attitude. It did help that it wasn't blowing a gale this time so we got to enjoy the outside patio with the firepit and they seem to have the bugs under control! The ranch hands are so helpful, moving luggage and cars around easily. The check-in staff are friendly and genuinely interested in making your stay the best. We even managed to get up early enough for a yoga session at Halehouse that was really well led. The room wasn't as pristine as it was a year ago, and it hasn't weathered well but the engineer was quick to come out and fix the issue we had. Thank you Stanly Ranch for a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

First time staying at the Ranch and it was the right choice. Great service, workers were super knowledgable and friendly, and room was great.

Anniversary celebration
Stanly Ranch is amazing!The resort is absolutely beautiful.The cottages are perfect. The amenities were very nice.

A beautiful way to experience Wine Country
Stanly Ranch is on a beautiful property and the rooms/services are upscale with high attention to detail. The views from the property, the pool, and amazing fitness center and our room were just gorgeous! The concierge desk puts together a wonderful day of wine tasting. Thank you, Stanly Ranch!
