Tired old hotel. Obvious they remodeled but tried to save money when they did it- wearing quickly. French guy front desk manager is managing revenue vs taking care of customers. Not worth the rates they charge for a dank, cramped room that’s crowded to move around in.

Underwhelming

Stayed for 1 night Pros: Location , walking distance to Vanderbilt University and Medical Center Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Cons: Paying for parking. While I understand this is common for urban hotels to do. It’s still ridiculous to have to pay to park at a hotel you’ve already paid to stay at. Loews Nashville should set themselves apart from the others and other than Valet, should offer parking with the room. They claim the in room mini bar is for the convenience of the customer, however it’s just another money grab like parking. Also the mini fridge in the room is full of mini bar items and is unusable for personal items. TV is difficult to use and would not stay connected to my IPhone 13 to use the screen casting function. In 2024 they should just have standard Smart TV’s . Water leaked around the base of the water spigot at the bathroom sink. Behind the TV the power receptacle is partially hanging out of the wall. The package containing the shower cap had hair stuck to it. There was a constant pecking/ticking noise coming from outside the room all night which made it hard to get good sleep. Overall I was disappointed and perhaps my expectations were too high. I have stayed at 100’s of hotels over the years. This is one where I certainly didn’t get my moneys worth.

Nashville review

So far my experience has been exceptional. In Nashville for 5 days 6 nights. The amenities on site were fantastic. Van and the team at the concierge were very helpful everytime we were coming and going. The vibes were welcoming from the moment we got here. Would rate more than 5/5.

I’ve been traveling to Nashville for work for four decades. While I try other properties from time to time I always find my way back to the Loews Vanderbilt Plaza. My most recent stay affirmed that it remains my favorite. Staff is professional and personable particularly Gary Jamison, Concierge. The new fitness center is a destination facility. Location is perfect and it avoids the downtown noise.

Quality stay in Nashville

Just came home from a business trip in Nashville. The event was held at the Lowe's Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville. Myself and most of industry folks attending the event stayed here as well. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding. From the driveway to my room, I was totaly taken care of. The property was clean and well maintained. My entire stay and the entire event was perfect. Special shoutout to a bartender - Gerika. She went above and beyond to handle the crowd that all rolled in at once. She did it with style and grace. Very professional, but friendly. She was the brightset star among many.
