Reviews for Grand Hyatt Baha Mar
Better than I expected.
I was extremely nervous about staying here after reading reviews, but my experience was great. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Although I would have preferred a better view of the ocean, I was overall satisfied with the accommodations. The staff on the property was very friendly and personable, contrary to the reviews I read before arrival. This is a family-friendly property, featuring seven pools with access to the adjacent hotel's (SLS) pools, including a water park. There is also a flamingo sanctuary and aviary. In addition, there are several restaurants and shops to enjoy.

6th time at this resort ... won't be returning
4 adults, 2 rooms, lots of dining and casino experiences but still this place seems to be declining very quickly in customer service and with this being our 6th time at this resort, I don't think we will be back. The food is becoming far too overpriced and the service from the staff has not been comparable to previous years at all. It's lost it's island charm and we no longer feel a warm welcome when we come... it's now just another place for the ultra rich to go for the weekend and spend tens of thousands of dollars on bottle sercice and gaming tables, or the influencers to get all the suite upgrades and food and drinks comped for their whole trip. The hard working middle class folk no longer seem to belong. Food at some of the restaurants is still incredible - especially CLEO!

Best hotel
Had a great time with 17 family members, 7 rooms… The best stay, only concerns 2 rooms smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. When I spoke to the front desk it was handled immediately. I understand this is not within the hotels control but maybe increase the non smoking fee violations so guests can be deterred from violating hotel policy.

Excellent service - Don the Bellman
Don the bellman was great! He helped us with our ride and made sure our luggage was safe while we walked around the resort after check out. Thanks for a great experience Don!
