The Reef at Atlantis

Overall, it was a great experience! The atmosphere and amenities were excellent, and I would definitely rate it 10 stars if I could. The only downside was the staff at the bars—unfortunately, they came across as mostly unfriendly and a bit slow with service. A little more friendliness and attentiveness would make the experience absolutely perfect.

Amazing trip, we loved the convenience, helpfulness from the staff, amenities at the resort and the service. Kids had a great time and the vacation was very easy with lots to do. Will definitely come back.

We had a great time staying at the reef with our 2 kids , in a HUGE 2 bedroom apartment . So much space and 3 balconies overlooking the beautiful beach and pools. There is so much to do at the Atlantis . Whilst the resort is huge , the little buses are generally reliable and walking to royal wasn’t far. The beast beach is at the reef/cove. We swam with turtles every day and the sea is calm. The beach beds I felt could do with replacing as some were broken. Highlights were: The water park Paranza Italian restaurant The huge well equipped gym Cabana hire around pool Exuma trip with born free The service from the attentive staff We will return and maybe try doing a large grocery shop, cook more as cost of food is very high and was just average. Can't control the weather! Did manage to get some aquaventure rides in despite many closures for thunderstorms. Unfortunately, several dining options (particularly in Marina Village) were closed, and a few rides were shut down for maintenance. Would have booked a different time had we known this in advance.

We stayed at The Reef at Atlantis and overall had a wonderful time! The resort is beautiful, and our room was spacious and well-kept. The Reef is a bit removed from the main hub of activity—expect about a 10–15 minute walk to The Royal, or you can wait for the shuttle at the lobby (though sometimes the wait can be longer than the walk). If you’re traveling with little ones (especially under 5), I’d recommend booking at The Royal since it’s much more convenient—restaurants, pools, and attractions are right there. A few helpful tips for future guests: • Dining is on the pricey side, so budget ahead. • Every bill automatically includes a 10% surcharge + 15% tip. • The resort is cashless (credit card or room charge only), so keep your receipts to stay organized. Overall, I give it 5 stars—not just for the resort itself, but because the employees truly make the experience. Everyone we encountered was happy, welcoming, and so helpful. I’ll happily pay the price any day to be surrounded by such amazing people.
