Hubs and I booked this place last minute to escape the cold. Very clean room, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Close to Dolphin Cay and water park. Big thing we found was that you have to plan ahead for dinner- if you don’t have a reservation somewhere, the quick options on property close at 5 during the winter months.

We had the best possible room you could get, and our housekeeping was great. The view from our room was very beautiful. We loved everything about it.

My wife and I stayed at The Reef as we were celebrating our 60th anniversary on January 15th. Overall, it was wonderful. The room, the staff, the grounds, the variety of activities makes staying at Atlantis an incredible and memorable experience.

Beautiful, spacious room, well maintained. We had a harbor view studio, with a view of a parking lot, cruise ship harbor and western beaches beyond from our comfortable balcony. The Reef is part hotel, part condo and the quietest, family friendly hotel at the Atlantis resort. My only disappointment is the size of the miniature refrigerator in the kitchenette. Our main motivation for booking a studio apartment rather than a regular hotel room was to be able to enjoy a light breakfast at our leisure in the room, but the mini fridge was too small to hold a gallon of milk upright. By turning it on its side, we made it work without spilling, but not without some anxiety about how well that would work. The fridge did come in handy for storing dinner leftovers which we reheated for lunch one day, but it wasn’t really necessary. The resort offers good to great food at various price points. We didn’t save money by buying cereal and milk at island prices. The coffee shop in the lobby diminishes the added convenience of having breakfast in the room. If we return, I will book a regular room at another hotel and get a light breakfast from the Starbucks in the lobby.

This is a large and expansive resort on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas. There are a lot of amenities available, but everything is exorbitantly priced (it's expensive on the island as it is, but the prices in the resort are astronomical). All the staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and professional - sorely underpaid at $6/hr. The resort didn't staff enough lifeguards at times, so certain pools or rides were closed due to understaffing by the resort. Overall, a very luxurious and opulent place to visit with beautiful grounds and incredible weather. The employees really are great.
