Wonderful relaxing experience!
We had a lovely stay at the Reef! Our room was very comfortable, well appointed (we had a kitchenette) and clean. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The grounds and beach were beautiful, and we enjoyed the quieter atmosphere at the Reef area. A special shoutout to Greg at the front desk! What a wonderful experience ... he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you Greg! It's people like you that make a vacation memorable!

Good food, great service, but cold pool temperatures.
The service and hospitality was great. We were disappointed with the water temperature in the pools. This impacted our trip significantly.

I regretted it.
It was already good! The food is not the best. Toys closed in the high season that is from December to April. I came 9 years ago, and this time with my children, I thought it lost a lot of quality.

Nice place bur reservations need work
I called Atlantis and talked to them about reserving a suite with a roll-in shower because I am a quadriplegic. I was told they had one available. When we arrived, our room didn't have a roll-in shower. I told the check in person I need a roll-in shower and was told "its only a request, not a guarantee"?? That doesn't work for disabled people! I get if you don't have it available but don't say you have it, wait till we fly down there, and then tell me it's not available! Just be careful if you're disabled, call and talk to a manager a few times before you leave home.

PERFECT!!!!!!!
I stayed at the REEF Hotel on the Atlantis resort, and it was amazing. The room totally beautiful (I had the studio suite with Ocean view balcony on the 11th floor), customer service A+++, the entire staff and the properties were more than I has expected, and everything was PERFECT! It was my first time traveling by myself. I felt safe taking a taxi downtown to Bay Street and walked all over. The Fish Fry at Twin Brother is amazing. The Bahamian Conch Ceviche a must try. Warning: Everything is super expensive and the resort only takes credit cards, or you can charge to your room with a credit card on file. It is very family and kid friendly and the Ocean clear and turquois. I will definitely be back.
