The Caves

Just returned from a trip to Jamaica with our adult children (20s). During our trip we spent three nights at the Caves in Negril and absolutely loved it. The location is stunning and the cottages are so quaint with a real Jamaican feel. It is a boutique resort with only about 20-30 guests on site. The staff is amazing...they all go above and beyond to make the stay unforgettable. The food was delicious. It's quiet, but if you want more action, Rick's Cafe is within walking distance and seven mile beach is a short cab ride away. I highly recommend this resort.

I recently spent Easter weekend at The Caves, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional. The staff struck the perfect balance—friendly, welcoming, and accommodating without ever being overbearing. Special shoutout to Randy and Stacy, who made us feel right at home, along with the rest of the amazing team (even those whose names I didn’t get). As someone who lives in Jamaica and has stayed at many hotels across the island, this was by far my best stay to date. The property itself is absolutely stunning. At night, the entire place is beautifully lit with wax candles, creating a magical and intimate atmosphere. The attention to detail throughout the property really stands out. We also loved the food—everything was delicious—and the self-serve drink option at the bars was a great touch that added to the relaxed, personalized experience. I would highly recommend The Caves to anyone looking for a unique, peaceful, and truly memorable stay in Negril. I’ll definitely be back!

I can’t say enough great things about this resort. Absolutely beautiful property with AMAZING staff! This was our 4th trip and it did not disappoint! It has become our home away from home and feels much more like staying at a friends house than a hotel. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to return!

My husband and I revisited The Caves this month for the fourth time to enjoy some relaxation and rejuvenation. We were so relieved for this community that the hurricane did not destroy Negril! The last time we visited was 2013 -- a busy life kept us away all these years. We returned this February as empty nesters and, much to our delight, after over a decade, The Caves remains our most favorite home away from home. We are always received with the warmest welcome as if we are family -- the majority of the same staff is still onsite and are just as engaging / doting as we remembered. The entire crew provides customer service beyond expectations...Raquel, Omar, Glen, Stacy, Randy, Zoom, Tunisia and Elizabeth (massage therapist) all took such wonderful care of us! Raquel will greet you each morning for breakfast with her beautiful smile and pampering service -- the scratch kitchen offers healthy, delicious, fresh local fare. The variety of soups at lunch/dinner are a real highlight as well as Jamaican specialties like jerk chicken, steamed greens and tasty rice and beans. I also can't get enough of the watermelon welcome drink and Zoom / Glen's Caribbean Sky...drinks are always aplenty with late night self service bartending as a fun option! And live reggae music on property is such a treat. This harmonious experiece in its entirety will forever draw us back to The Caves.
