HEAVENLY CHAI!
The property is wonderful! So many highlights, the room, the textiles, the top roof heated pool but he best is the MR. BUHAVN'S MASALA CHAI. Every morning I wake up craving for his wonderful brew! Velvety tea with ginger and cardamon scents and he puts no sugar so you add to your taste! How am I going to cope with the rest of my life without his fantastic chai??? Choukriah! The service at Leela Palace New Delhi was excellent. This is one of my favorite places. One of the staff, Imli, was very professional and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous property with a “Buyer Beware” call-out.
The Leela Palace experience is a 5 overall, unfortunately a 1-2 for their concierge team. Why this review lands at a three. I easily had to write 30+ emails to get my itinerary set with their concierge team which included a private tour of Old Delhi, spa services and even the use of their tailor. The tailor and spa services were very good. The team still got my itinerary incorrect and had a guide show up the day of my spa treatments. Lastly, their tour services are a call-out of “Buyer Beware”! The let down was the tour guide and driver taking me to one of their artisan establishments where I could purchase local products at better prices. I allowed myself to be thieved and purchased a “pashmina” at an exorbitant price. When I got back to the hotel I made my way to their pashmina boutique on the property inside the hotel. It was clear to me then that the item I bought offsite was clearly not a pashmina and the embroidery was of very poor quality (already starting to unravel). I addressed this with the concierge team and they requested my contact information for follow-up. Five days later I still haven’t heard anything from that team. Disappointing that the Leela supports their artisan community with boutiques onsite then allows their guests to thieved taking them to establishments not backed by the hotel. Or obviously their hotel’s management team. I cannot recommend this hotel even though it was a 5 across all other aspects of the guest experience. Too bad they placed their guest in this predicament.

I used the pool every day. Had a great experience with Vikash . He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was always asking to answer any questions. I highly recommend Leela hotel to everybody. Food was great and rooms and services were excellent
