A stay at The Oberoi, New Delhi is a masterclass in refined luxury. Our room overlooked the sweeping greens of the Delhi Golf Course—serene, expansive, and quietly spectacular. Dining was a highlight: 360° and Baoshuan delivered exceptional culinary experiences, each dish precise, elegant, and memorable—easily on par with Michelin-worthy standards. What truly defines the experience, however, is the people. The staff embody warmth, grace, and an intuitive sense of service that feels both personal and effortless. The Oberoi at its finest—where every detail is considered, and every moment elevated.

Lovely hotel with welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff I encountered in the restaurants and lobby constantly greeted me by my name. Special and memorable service that I sadly rarely normally encounter on my work related trips. My new favourite hotel!

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary midweek and wanted a quick one-night escape in Delhi. We were initially deciding between The Leela Palace New Delhi and The Oberoi, New Delhi, but eventually chose the latter as I had been wanting to stay here for a long time. Having stayed at almost every other Oberoi and Trident property across India, this was one hotel I was especially looking forward to experiencing. I had dined here in the past, but never stayed overnight. Shortly after booking, the hotel reached out asking whether there was any special occasion as well as my expected arrival time. I informed them that it was our anniversary, and from that moment onward the attention to detail was evident. Let me say this outright — this hotel sets the bar so incredibly high that it leaves very little room for comparison. The benchmark of hospitality, service standards, and thoughtfulness created here is something most luxury hotels can only aspire to. Check-in was smooth and effortless. We were escorted directly to our upgraded room, and all formalities were completed there, which immediately set the tone for a relaxed and personalized stay. Piyush, who checked us in, was warm, efficient, and precise. Within just a couple of minutes he gave us a concise introduction to the room and hotel facilities, while also assuring us that we should not hesitate to reach out should we need absolutely anything. The room itself was stunning. Immaculately maintained, spotless in every corner, and quite honestly I could not identify a single flaw. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the shower area was top notch with excellent water pressure, and the suite featured high-end TOTO automatic toilets. The bathroom amenities were equally impressive — premium, thoughtfully stocked, and refreshingly generous in an era where many luxury hotels have begun cutting back on toiletries. We also had access to the Residents’ Lounge, where we stopped for a drink and had a lovely interaction with Prerna, who very sweetly arranged for an anniversary cake despite one already having been placed in the room. Lan, who was serving us, was equally polite and attentive. Dinner at Dhilli was decent as we were partially full. We were not particularly hungry and therefore kept the meal light, but the quality of the food, as well as the courteous service, stood out yet again. Another thoughtful anniversary surprise awaited us here too. Post dinner, we headed to Cirrus 9, the hotel’s lovely rooftop venue. This is an absolute must-visit. It is understandably very busy on weekends, draws a large local crowd, and offers excellent cocktails accompanied by beautiful city views. The next morning I used the outdoor pool, which is superbly maintained. What impressed me most was the tray thoughtfully placed beside each lounger containing sunscreen, bottled water, and a cold towel. I have stayed at some truly high-end hotels around the world and had still not encountered this level of foresight. They genuinely seem to have thought of everything. There is also an indoor pool for those who prefer a swim away from the sun. Breakfast was another highlight. The spread was not only extensive but of exceptionally high quality. Nanki, in particular, was extremely attentive and seemed to understand exactly what we preferred after only a brief conversation. I am not easily impressed, but she certainly understands the true meaning of hospitality. By the time we checked out, I had already made a decision — whenever I stay in Delhi in the future, this hotel will be my first choice to the best of our ability. Lastly, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Abhishek Panshikar, who took the time to meet us both at check-in and again at check-out. His warmth, courtesy, and visible involvement in the guest experience speak volumes about why this property operates at such an extraordinary level. The Oberoi, New Delhi is not just another luxury hotel stay — it is a masterclass in hospitality.

From the moment I arrived in the hotel, bleary-eyed at 3am, I felt so welcomed by the staff on duty. The room was lovely - immaculately clean, very comfortable, good amenities and very quiet, even with the air conditioning running. I primarily dined in the 360 restaurant that had a great variety of delicious food for breakfast and dinner. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I would have no hesitation in returning to The Oberoi!

We had great 4 day stay at the end of 3 week touring holiday. It’s a city hotel, so a completely different vibe to the other Oberoi hotels we stayed. Everything about the place oozes quality and the staff were all fantastic. We ate at Baoshuan & 360 which were both excellent and so was breakfast. We had access to the residents lounge which served snacks and evening cocktails. It’s in a great location and in summary I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
