Great property, but would NOT recommend!
I'm a long standing Taj loyalist and an inner circle member. I've been to Taj properties all over India and I am not one to give a poor review often. However this one is definitely well deserved. Taj Mansingh has repeatedly disappointed me in terms of sevice which is completely contrary to what Taj stands for! The staff here is often disrespectful and have a huge air of arrogance about them. I don't know if this is deliberate but it is truly so offputting. I visited the club lounge today and everything was going well, the staff was so nice until Laxmi, one of their oldest serving employees arrived. He is one of the most obnoxious "hospitality" staff I've ever come across. This is not an isolated observation and I have noted his arrogant behaviour a number of times in the past. I hence decided to take the time to provide this very well deserved mention today. Overall, while the property is beautiful and some of the staff is good, it doesn't even come close to the level of service and hospitality you'd otherwise get at any Taj property! NOT recommended if you like to be treated well!
