I liked this hotel. As a frequent biz traveler (Platinum status), I tend to care less of my room and more of the little things like early and late check out. Vijay checked me in around 11am and was super friendly and helpful. He said they had one room available (2 doubles on the 4th floor), but maybe I should wait as he could get me a far better room with a great view. I told him I preferred to just get in the room, and he happily obliged. He also gave me some bonus points for the “inconvenience”. Very nice guy and the room was still very nice. Room was clean, relatively spacious (for NYC standards) and super convenient. Will stay at this property again when I have to be in this part of the city.

This is not the Meridien we were used to. Apparently, the former Meriden (and prior to that Parker Meridien) is now the Thompson. Do not be fooled. This hotel bought the name only. The rooms are old. The space is very small. The staff is very polite but we had an issue with someone using our room number at the bar and the staff told us there was no charge to us. Theee days later after we have checked out, a charge shows up on our credit card. After three failed attempts to contact the hotel where we were disconnected, our on hold and then disconnected, we disputed through our credit card company. Never again.

Stayed just one night at the Le Meridien Central Park. We were so weary from a long day of travel and just wanted to get a bite to eat. Joe Panarella, operations manager, treated us like we were royalty and immediately got us seats in the lobby restaurant. He was so personable. He loves working in hospitality, and it shows! The entire staff was so welcoming. Rooms were also clean and comfortable!

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The accommodations, location and cleanliness were top notch. The service was outstanding across the board. In particular, Joe the manager, went above and beyond to make my experience special. His attentiveness has made Le Meridien my top choice when staying in NYC!

I recently spent 5 days at Le Meridien Central Park. I enjoyed this hotel. It's small and charming. This was the first time I stayed at this hotel and definitely will not be my last. I had an amazing experience and I felt safe and welcome at this hotel. I love that its located close and within walking distance to pretty much everything. Its also located close to two different subway lines which makes it nice. There is a 24 hour market and a convient store located on the same block. And the hotel is a block away from Central Park. They also have a car service at a cost that can take you anywhere you may want to go. The hotel was very clean. The room was small but for New York it was a good size. There was construction across the street during my stay. To be honest the noise wasn't loud at all. The staff was very nice open and friendly.  Even hotel management is at the front desk to greet you sometimes. On my second day I met Joseph Panarella. He treated me like a personal friend even though we have never met. He wanted to make sure my stay was memorable. And trust me it was. Sometimes its the hotel staff that can make or break a trip. This trip was a great trip because of the staff. There was restaurant located in the hotel and it was top notch. The staff was friendly and professional. Service was really fast. It has a french coffee shop theme feel to it when you walk in but with a full restaurant attached. And they have a few breakfast items that are served all day. Which was definitely a plus for me. The hotel also has a rooftop bar with amazing views of the city. Great place to have a few drinks and snacks while enjoying views of Central Park and the city lights. My overall impression of this hotel was good. I thought the rooms were a little small but it wasn't too bad. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar are top notch. The hotel is in a great location. I'm planning my next trip because I am definitely staying here again.
