Used to be a great hotel, now it's a shadow of its former self. Faded and a bit tatty, especially bathrooms, needs a complete remodel. Restaurant and bar are permanently closed so as well as there being no food & beverage on-site (nor any glasses/cups to drink from in the bedrooms - go figure) there is absolutely no atmosphere downstairs in the lobby. And there's still a $35 facility fee... for absolutely no facilities (aside from maybe wifi, which was patchy) what a rip-off!! Housekeeping are loud and walked into my room 3 times, 2 of which when I had to Do Not Disturb sign up. Reception staff surly. Only good guy was Neil, the concierge, who has been there for several years and probably laments the days when this was an "it" hotel with queues to get inside, great service, and a great vibe. Bed was comfortable, that's probably the only good thing.

Excellent location in walking distance to many attractions or public transportation. Clean, friendly staff but very limited services. No Food and Beverage, on site, but a few places very close by for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room was stark and bland. "Couch" was as comfortable as sitting on a rock. No view. Refrigerator broken so requested a new one (which they accommodated). Bathroom spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately, room was directly across from elevators so a tremendous amount of noise.

Love this hotel! The staff members were friendly, rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Every morning, the kids would wake up early and go swimming. The heated was nice touch. We would spend all day exploring the city and when we came back, my husband and I would head to the top floor for a little night cap. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

We stayed at this hotel in New York. Its communal areas are very plush but there is currently no bar or restaurant available onsite although there are a large number of cafes / bars nearby. They store bags without charge and all staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a loft suite it wasn’t as big as I was expecting . The shower was very good however we were provided with bottles of water at check in but our room did not have any cups , a coffee machine or a fridge ! The beds were very comfy and we didn’t hear any street noise or any noise from our neighbours .

A very nice looking property with great service, beautiful room, super clean, comfy bed, perfect location...highly recommend.
