Great location just off the main tourist shopping area. Great staff. Great facilities. Rooms are dated but ok. The Library is great as well as the Lounge and restaurant. The pool hot tub and sauna are also great, bright airy and suny area. Great location for wineries, dining and theatre.

Customer experience strong

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The staff at the Hotel was engaged, receptive, involved and quick to react if we had any needs or changes to make along the way and always did it with a smile. It's nice to see that customer service and customer experience is still at the forefront of this hotel experience!

One of the best accommodations in which we hosted our annual conference

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Queens Landing is very nice with much class, the accommodations are second to none, we were there for the second time in 2 years hosting our Lodge convention, with the excellent hospitality from their conference service manager Kelly Baranik who was absolutely amazing and who ensured that all our needs were met and went well beyond in assisting us in conducting our annual event successfully, I personally could not have thanked her enough, the attention to detail and professionalism was outstanding, thank you Kelly, you make it a hard decision to attend anywhere else to hold our gathering, and it was truly a great pleasure, we will certainly return, Gerry Morgan Grand Master Grand Orange Lodge of Ontario West

Dear Peggy, Paul, Kelly, Jennifer, Front Desk Staff and Queen's Landing House Keeping Staff I just wanted to take a few moments to express our sincere appreciation for the great hospitality during our stay at Queen's Landing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and made feel truly welcome. Our meeting space was not only comfortable but exceeded expectations. The guest rooms were fantastic and sported great views and very comfortable surroundings. The Queen's Landing team, Paul, Peggy, Kelly, Jennifer, Front Desk Staff and all the Housekeeping Staff deserve high praise for their professionalism and kindness - they were always ready to assist with a smile, making our experience even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the future and will be recommending Queen's Landing to our friends and colleagues. Thank you once again for creating such a memorable and pleasant experience. Charming Stay with Great Dining and a Quiet Lakeside Setting

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We spent two nights at Queen’s Landing in Niagara-on-the-Lake over the Easter long weekend and had a lovely, relaxing stay. Having stayed at most of the properties in the Vintage Hotels portfolio, we found Queen’s Landing offered a very similar experience to the Prince of Wales — elegant, well-run, and full of charm — but in a much quieter location overlooking the harbour. We booked an excellent “April Foolin’” promotional rate, which made the stay even better value. At the time of booking, we also added on breakfast each morning and one dinner at Tiara, which was a smart cost-saving move. Our Deluxe Harbour View room was bright, very clean, and comfortable — though on the smaller side. While technically a lake view, our particular view was partially blocked by the side of the hotel and the rooftop air conditioning units above the restaurant, which was a bit disappointing. One thing to note: none of the rooms have balconies, so you can't really enjoy the lake view from outdoors. The bathroom was quite small, with just one sink and a tub/shower combination with a curtain. The towels were very good quality, but the robes provided are a non-absorbent polar fleece (we prefer 100% cotton), and the toiletries were a mid-range line. The hotel itself has a lot of character, but the Victorian decor in the lobby and especially the hallways is starting to feel a little tired and could use a refresh. That said, the amenities are solid — we used the well-equipped gym and appreciated the complimentary yoga class at Pillar and Post (a great perk). The indoor pool area is attractive, but it was often filled with families; having a few adults-only swim hours would be a nice touch for couples looking to relax. Breakfast was good, especially when ordering off the menu — we’d recommend skipping the buffet, which felt like more of an afterthought. Dinner at Tiara was excellent: warm, attentive service, beautifully prepared dishes, and well-crafted cocktails. On Friday night, we had dinner at the Bacchus Lounge and took advantage of their weekly pasta special — it was great and perfect for a more casual night in. Both nights we were annoyed that turndown service came quite early, while we were getting ready for dinner. It felt intentional—so that the housekeeper could just hand off a rose and some bottled water at the door instead of coming in to replace towels, draw the curtains, and turn down the bed. The front desk has a record of guests’ on-site dinner reservations, so this definitely could be coordinated better. Overall, Queen’s Landing is a wonderful option for a quiet, romantic getaway with great food, charming service, and a peaceful location. Just don’t expect unobstructed lake views or a balcony to enjoy them from.
