One feels so special staying and dining at this place - not our usual type of accommodations. Treat yourself if you can.

I had wanted to stay here since I was a kid and it didn't disappoint. We were way up on the 6th floor and had the best view imaginable. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom appeared newly renovated. Everything was better than you would expect for a 97 year old hotel. No TV, no problem, we just spent our time in the lobby hearing the history of the hotel and basking in the view while sipping local brews. Amazing!

Stay was expectational. Service at the restaurant was great and food was hitting the right notes. will look forward to come sooner than later.

Celebrated our 50th anniversary at the Prince of Wales Hotel where we met 52 years ago as hotel employees.

The exterior and interior of this beautiful hotel are breathtaking! Every staff member we encountered were beyond professional. They were always smiling and asking if we needed help at every turn. We attended the High Tea and were impressed with the presentation not to mention how good the food was! The wait staff provided lots of details about the teas and the food. Wonderful view in the dining room. We wanted a lakeside view room and we got it. It was one of the last rooms available when I booked so I knew there were going to be a few issues. We arrived amid rain and wind (it's always windy there). Once in our room, we could actually feel the building swaying a little! Our room was on the 5th floor. It was basic and rather stark but it was comfortable. Unfortunately, we had little to no heat. They brought up a space heater and we warm in no time. I wouldn't recommend room 523 mainly because it truly feels like something from a century ago! But I would definitely recommend staying here! After the rain upon arrival, the next day we did get to enjoy sunshine!
