Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel

We booked a junior suit (room #316) upgrade, that should have sea view. Well, you could get a vague idea, but definitely no "view". At least the room and bath room was bigger. However, flooding the bath from the shower, while the door was closed, was a no brainer... The restaurant and breakfast service is most of the time completely overstrained. Orders take very long, and chances are high, that ordered things got mixed-up. However, the roof top terrace is a great place, as is the restaurant's view. What irritated me most was, that there are many things you could do but everything is charged extra: hotel claims a private beach => reality: it's a private, highly packed, area on the beach, which costs 7€ extra per towel. Of course, this is not a critical amount but why? The room prices are not super low... The same goes for any group courses. I don't know any 5* hotel in CH, that charges you for these things. This just gives a bit of a narrow-minded impression. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very nice and the location is perfect. High season price-value ratio is average. Don't get me wrong, it's a real nice place just be prepared that you pay a lot for it.

Overall wonderful experience. Make sure you request a room with a Sea View. Floor 4 or higher. Breakfast was wonderful. Extensive spa but no pool. Would stay there again.

We just had our honeymoon at the Anantara and it was beyond what we were expecting. Huge spacious, clean & modern rooms with the most refreshing AC cranking at all times. Our reservation came with complimentary breakfast on the rooftop and the breakfast was so phenomenal we never bothered to eat breakfast anywhere else the whole trip. Not to mention the beautiful beach views from breakfast. The concierge were extremely helpful with getting us difficult restaurant reservations and even helped with beach club reservations and hair appts. We are already dreaming of coming back for our anniversary. Absolutely loved it!!

The hotel was amazing as well as the staff! My wife started coordinating with them in advance in order to assist us and not only selecting our room, but also dinner locations and reservations as well as a luxury rental Car coordinated through the hotel! The view was spectacular. Our room was amazing and I cannot speak highly enough about the hotel or our experience! Florian, Lea, Mike And the rest of the front desk and concierge staff was superb! They were constant professionals and accommodated or assisted with every question, issue reservation we had. The spa is also phenomenal and my massage therapist Wanatsuda was phenomenal! She was so good I made time to get back for a second massage during our time there! Again, I have nothing but Great things to say about the property and their amazing staff, which was the icing on the cake. I cannot recommend the Anantara Hotel Nice Highly enough!

Its a great hotel overall, but if you get a panoramic room on the 5th floor, you will be subject to all the noises associated with tables and chairs above you at the rooftop restaurant. I would suggest getting a 4th floor room and then it will be wonderful.
