Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel

Excellent service! Very professional servers and so accommodating! We would stay here again!

Situated just off the Promenade des Anglais, this property is an amazing temporary base camp for your adventures in the French Riviera. The hotel entrance is rather nondescript and sits among multiple high end store fronts. This was our last stop in France. We were welcomed warmly by the hotel staff. They were genuinely appreciative of our business and made sure we were comfortable. Our rooms were tastefully decorated and were just the right size. We had ocean view balconies overlooking the adjacent park. We loved the outdoor area. The rooms were spotless and furnishings were very nice. The beds were comfortable and the linens were very high end. The hotel offered a breakfast buffet every morning. The food was delicious and plentiful. There was a nice mix of general continental cuisine and local specialties. The staff was very attentive. Elina was particularly attentive and made our kids feel welcome. The location of this property is ideal. Situated between the old and new sections of Nice and steps from the waterfront, this feels like the best place to be for a traveler. We fell in love with the south of France on this trip and will likely return to this amazing property.

This was a superb hotel and the second hotel we stayed at during our holiday. Overall, the location was outstanding - situated in the heart of shopping and restaurants. Before arriving the Concierge set up a recommendation and ultimately a reservation for an excellent meal. The junior suite was a pleasant experience with adequate space and the breakfast at the rooftop was excellent!

When we arrived it took a while because although we had booked 2 rooms together they did not place us together so we had to wait for the rooms to be ready. The front desk really didn't want to change it for us but we insisted because we booked it that way. Disappointing after traveling so far. After we got in we did like the beautiful views and large rooms and warm shower. The bathroom had very good lighting. No one explained how to use the thermostat so that was confusing. Also, they did not tell us there was a button near the door to stop housekeeping service. We did not know and must have pushed it trying to turn on lights. Our room was only serviced once in our 3 night stay for both rooms and this was disappointing. The concierge was helpful, when there was someone at the desk and the front door staff was amazing and very helpful with directions and taxis. The rooftop bar gave us excellent service and had amazing views! There were heaters and blankets if you wanted to sit outside. We loved the service there. Overall loved the hotel. They just need to explain how things work when you go to the room. For the price you pay here you should never go without housekeeping services.

We had an amazing time at the Anantara plaza hotel. The front desk staff was so kind and gave us a birthday gift for our daughter’s birthday. It was so thoughtful and appreciated. The housekeeping was immaculate, and we loved seeing the sea from our room. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast on the rooftop every day. Elina at Seen restaurant was simply incredible. Elina was as attentive and kind and we looked forward to seeing her every morning. We look forward to seeing Elina next time we visit with the rest of our extended family. The rest of the staff at the restaurant along with hotel door service and concierge made us feel welcomed and at home. We will be recommending the Anantara to all of our friends and family looking to vacation in the French Riviera.
