About the Hotel

The former residence of the Swedish Royal Family, Chateau Eza is an enchanting 14th century hotel set in the thousand-year-old French medieval village of Eze. Perched 1,300 feet above the Mediterranean Sea, this exquisite ten-room member of Lifestyle Hotels & Resorts opened its doors again in April 2004 following an extensive renovation by the Stein Group, which has added up-to-the-moment amenities without sacrificing the hotel's medieval charms. Most rooms feature stone fireplaces and private balconies with breathtaking views of the Cote d'Azur, while the Gastronomic Restaurant boasts some of the most panoramic dining in the region.

Very nice hotel.

The hotel, rooms, staff, food, location were all terrific. Did have electrical issues with lights and spa tub. Thought some credit compensation might be offered, but was not.

Wonderful place for a short break

A slightly dated 5***** hotel in a prime panoramic location. Probably the best view of the Cote d'Azur. Warm, absolutely professional welcome (5-star+), wonderfully quiet room despite hundreds of tourists. Very good bed and spacious superior room, which we would book again. Very good restaurant, short distances, very good hotel service, very friendly and fast car service. The only downside is that there is no possibility to stretch your legs and relax outside the room in bad weather. Therefore recommendation for max. 2-3 days. .

Heaven on Earth

The property was stunningly beautiful. The accommodations and staff were consistently exceptional. The food was delightful. Our room (Village) provided a private balcony that overlooked the Mediterranean....which was simply amazing. This is more than we typically pay for a hotel, but the splurge for our Anniversary was more than worth it.

Magical Experience

Truly amazing location out of a fairytale. The village was vibrant during the day, intimate at night. The rooms spacious and unique. Views beyond belief. Restaurant was top tier. Hotel staff very responsive and knowledgable.
