Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives

We spent 10 days in this paradise and had the most incredible time. Everyone is so friendly and lovely and made all the difference. Our butler Shahu was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed everyday. He organised all our trips, excursions and restaurants so we could just relax and enjoy our holiday and went out of his way to make sure we all had the best time - especially on my 30th birthday when he made sure I had a really special day. The diving was also amazing and I had some of my most memorable dives there. Oleg was a brilliant guide and made sure I was comfortable and looked after throughout and was great fun on the boat. He took me to some unforgettable dive sites that made my trip very memorable. Would definitely recommend Iru Fushi for a relaxing break in paradise!

We stayed 7 nights at this Paradise resort. From the minute we arrived on the sea plane, we felt special as we were greeted with traditional drums and very warm welcome by staff members. We were met by our butler Thaseen, who checked us in & explained about the resort, what was included in our full board package, restaurant's, included activities etc, then taken to our villa. I had emailed their customer service a few days prior of traveling, just notifying them of our diets and kids allergies which Thasssen bought up & notified us that all restaurants on the island were now aware of. He would watts app daily activities every morning that were taking place on the island too. Just want to say a special shout out to chef's Bandara, Vivek, Makhan, Nazmull, Nalaka who catered for our every need, cooking special meals for us and always checking up our stay was going great. Thanks to Newsha who made us special Vegan cakes too. All the staff here were amazing, so polite and always greeting us whenever we crossed paths, from cleaners to waiters. The spa and staff are awesome too. New years celebrations were amazing too, everything was done and set up so professionally. Before coming to the Maldives I thought it was just for couples and honeymooners but Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is a family resort & they do it in style. I would definitely visit again.

Overall my stay was not that much good . I m disappointed with some issues in our room (ants, dirty common areas, unkempt rooms, trash on dustbin,Hair in baths/beds, sticky floors/surfaces, dust/dust on shelves/windows, sticky on floors, rubbish left behind. Rude, indifferent, or unhelpful staff; poor training; issues Specially housekeeping . Room cleaning boy santos not attention to listening what we saying and what we need.

We are a family of 5 (kids age 10, 12 and 15) and stayed at the resort over the post Christmas period for 8 days. We had a truly wonderful time at Sun Siyam. The resort setting is out of this world with a stunning beach surrounding the island. The place is kept meticulously well with top class facilities. The food in all the restaurants was very nice and much better than we’ve experienced in other AI hotels. We particularly liked Bamboo and Islanders Grill, though all offerings were very good. AI was definitely the right choice for us. Our kids did their diving courses during our stay and while quite expensive the folks working there were great, especially with our youngest girl. We thought all the staff were very nice and polite and couldn’t fault the service at all. These guys put in so much effort and take such pride in their work it’s incredible. Special mention to our butler Nasif and to Arjun in Islanders Grill. We stayed at a deluxe family beach villa for first half then switched to two water villas. The beach villa (#295) was a bit tight for our family, specially given kids ages. Our side by side water villas with pools were much more comfortable. We did a couple of excursions which we’d highly recommend - floating cinema and sun set fishing. Both very enjoyable! There is a good mix of nationalities staying at the resort which was nice. No hesitation recommending hotel and hope to go back again.

We truly had an INCREDIBLE stay at Iru Fushi— the staff were extremely attentive, rooms very clean, and such beautiful waters to enjoy.
