Such an amazing experience...everything was just perfect, from the place, to the villas and the people working at Gili. I want to thank to Rayaa, our Ms. Friday for being always so available and for making our stay one of the best. Want to thank also to Wabbe for the good advises on the food and drinks and Nimaal for always be so proative in cleaning the villa and putting everything perfect for a good night of sleep. I really had a wonderful time and enjoyed my holiday in Gili Lankanfushi. On arrival my Mrs Friday KK (yes, Gili has a Chinese Mr Friday now) welcomed us warmly, and met us during every breakfast and dinner, arranging everything for us. She is so nice and warm, always surprising us. If there are any problems, she will help us to solve them quickly. During my stay I went snorkelling, sailing and surfing. The instructors are all very professional and patient, friendly to beginners. Although it was my first time surfing, Nicole helped me to pick it up quickly. I started to love it and will definitely continue surfing! I must also mention the villa, which was the most beautiful house in the Maldives. From my villa I can see different marine life passing by, including baby sharks. The food was also delicious and varied. I would definitely go again!

This was my first time at Gili and I was absolutely blown away. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. What makes Gili special is not only the incredible beauty of the dazzling ocean, which is truly sublime. Above all it is the people of Gili that make it so magical. Tesla and Bobbo, the "Mr Fridays" who cared for us, were unparalleled. They made me feel so at home, their charm and goodwill and smiles were contagious. They are truly an inspiration. I felt like I understood and experienced at a new level what service is and can be from them. They were seamlessly present and ready to help with anything at all. I was so touched by their kindness, humor, compassion and love. Seeing the way they played with the children and wove beautiful toys and crowns for them out of palm leaves was one of the highlights of the trip. Our server Wabbe and the sitters Shale and Shira, the massage therapist Ugyen and housekeeper Bakuru really stood out as well, as emblems of the Gili's incredible people. Everyone on the island was simply a joy to be around. On the flight over we met several families who had been coming back for years, and now I understand why. Thank you for everything Gili, and especially Tesla and Bobbo, your kindness touched my heart. I feel deeply moved by the experience and there were tears in my eyes as the lights of Gili sparkled on the ocean and the staff stood waving on the pier to say goodbye. I feel so deeply moved and changed by this experience of these beautiful people and this beautiful place. I hope to return soon.
