Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta

The service has been phenomenal, especially with Alma at the towel stand and Morgan and Elizabeth on the beach. They really make the experience better. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are nice, the pools are great, and my kids have had a good time. The downside is the food and drinks. I came here back when it was still a Palace resort, and it’s obvious that when it switched to Hard Rock the food quality went way down. At Frida I ordered cheese empanadas, and somehow they managed to mess up Mexican food in Mexico. They were hard, frozen, and not edible. At Ciao I tried the pesto pasta, but they used so much parsley it tasted like licorice, again inedible. The food has been the worst part of the trip. The drinks aren’t much better. The alcohol tastes watered down or cut, and even the Pepsi seems off. Overall, the place is fun and the staff is amazing, but the food and drinks really bring down the experience.

Elias service was great, very helpful at the Frida 😎🫶 Hands down the food was delicious and drinks. The restaurant view was amazing watching the sunset.

My family and I came to spend our annual week-long vacation. Most of us had never been here before. They have 4 restaurants on campus, and our favorite so far is Frida. The staff was amazing (shout out to Elias and Janeth), and it was a treat to have Mexican food at a dedicated Mexican restaurant. Janeth made the guacamole for us fresh and table side. Elias attended to our every need and even looked up information for us that my dad was wondering about. Food was delicious. Ocean view was a neat backdrop to a fantastic meal. Thanks, Frida!

Checking out tomorrow after spending a week at the Hard Rock Vallarta. The vacation overall was good. The service was, as always, exceptional. Below are some of the Hard Rock staff that really stood out and made our vacation extra special. We went to the Zen restaurant a few nights as it was our favorite. Try the ribs. We enjoyed great service from Jazmin, Alejandro and Chef Cesar who always greeted us with a smile. On this visit we spent a lot of time at the pool. Chris and Israel were always there and happy to take a drink order or special request, such as a bucket of ice. Georgia was a standout among the entertainment staff. If you stop by the Sun Bar, Veronica will take of you with quick and excellent service with a smile. We really enjoyed the Spa and Salon. Dulce and Joana provided an awesome service starting us off with a pedi. Dulce also cut our hair to perfection. We got the Brad Pitt and Angelina styles. Haha She is a fabulous stylist. We had 4 massages and a facial between us during the week. They were fantastic. Angelita gave the best facial I have ever had. Both Angelita and Betty are fantastic massage therapists. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Katy. She went above and beyond expectations and was of great help all week long. Mario Japetto and his assistant ( I dont recall his name) in sales also helped get information and was very helpful fixing a few issues such as a computer problem we were having with the website. Another person that was very helpful was Benny at the front desk. He helped resolve some issues involving check out. Lastly, the person/team that serviced our room during the day and provided turn down at night did a fantastic job. We do not know any names because we never saw them Services were always provided when we were gone, but they deserve a shout out. Suggestions for the management. Fog for mosquitoes. On an overcast day around the pool, in certain areas, they are so thick you cannot sit there. Provide more convenient smoking areas. I understand todays sensitivity, but you can do better. Lastly, bring back the Don Julio Tequila!!!
