The Apurva Kempinski Bali

This hotel is just beautiful! The moment I arrived, it made me instantly feel the 5-star luxury experience. The view from the lobby, overlooking the pool is breathtaking, and the view from the pool back towards the hotel is equally awesome. Make sure to take photos! I originally booked a Deluxe room, but got upgraded to a Cliff Private Pool suite, i was super excited! The suite was spacious, clean and elegant. The private pool was a highlight. There was a fireworks display on my first night, and I watched it from my suite's pool area. It was great! The small downside was some noise during the night on both evenings of my stay. I'm not sure if it was maintenance work, but I'm not a light sleeper so I still got to sleep. I ordered room service, the risotto was delicious, though the delivery was slightly delayed, and the dish had dried out a little by the time it arrived-- but I still enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of flavorful dishes. I love buffet breakfasts, and this one did not disappoint. I also had dinner at Izakaya by Oku, and it was so good! I probably should write a separate review as it deserves its own 5star rating. I ordered the 5-course meal, and evry dish was exceptional. A server accidentally shifted the plate slightly when placing it on my table, causing the sakura ball to move out of place. Although all components were still there and it didn't really ruin the dish, only the presentation, they immediately took it back and completely remade the dish! Service: the staff here are attentive and eager to help. Though the welcome process felt a little overdone. From the airport to check-in, I interacted with about 3-4 different staff members, all asking the same friendly questions such as "How was your flight?" and "Where are you from?". While I appreciate their hospitality, answering the same questions multiple times felt slightly repetitive. Don't get me wrong, I could see they genuinely wanted to make me feel welcome, and I truly appreciate the effort. Great Spa experience. I booked the 3-hour treatment and it was wonderful--so relaxing that I tried so hard not to fall asleep so I could enjoy every minute of it. The spa room was luxurious, complete with its own shower and toilet. Definitely worth the price. Overall: Amazing hotel and I recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious Bali getaway.

I had a massage with Lastri at The Apurva Kempinski and she was absolutely amazing! She worked on my shoulders and feet with the perfect balance of pressure and relaxation. I left feeling completely refreshed and taken care of. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a truly soothing and professional experience.
