Best experience of afternoon tea. Exquisite view, great food & drinks, and excellent service from Ms Kristiani. Try their Italian almond tea. Definitely will come back.

Beautiful resort with stunning architecture and a relaxing atmosphere. We appreciated the room upgrade, although there was some initial miscommunication regarding the associated benefits, which slightly affected our arrival experience. During Nyepi, service responsiveness (particularly room service) was slower than expected, and there were minor maintenance issues in the room. That said, the team was helpful in addressing matters, and we still had a pleasant stay overall. With better consistency, the experience could be even more seamless.

An excellent 3 night stay. A full range of amenities and beautiful pools. Restaurants great food and reasonably priced. Our room attendants Edik and Suteja kept everything beautiful and nothing was too much bother. We would definitely stay again

Every experience at the Apurva Kempinski was fantastic, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurants was fist class, the room was lovely, swimming pools, beach front, beautiful gardens… We can’t recommend staying here enough…It would be very difficult to contemplate staying at another place when we return to Bali.

This was our fourth consecutive visit after booking immediately as we returned to the UK. Yet again and as we have always said, the Apurva exceeded our expectations yet again. We first came here in March 2023 and couldn't wait to return to our second "home" for the fourth time to meet our friends again with all their beautiful smiles that just brighten your day from the moment you walk out of your room. As I will say again and this is a jewel in the Kempinski crown, made possible by ALL of the staff! Exceptional excellence at every turn, the food, the drinks, the décor. The architecture is nothing short of majestic with an awe-inspiring blend of traditional Indonesian design and modern luxury - but really what makes our stay exceptional are the staff. At every turn / corner they were there for us to make our stay once more, very memorable. They are genuinely affectionate and caring and can never do enough for you and that remains to us, the most special factor of this hotel and it is always very humbling. They are what elevates this place to the very top of our list of places that we want to keep coming back (which is unheard of for us) and one day we hope to return. We were in one of the Grand Deluxe Ocean Court rooms and we were not disappointed again. The rooms are delightful and so clean and very spacious. May we give a BIG thank you to the Housekeepers work tirelessly to maintain the rooms which are spotless - all at a premium level. A thank you goes out to Dena, Jessen and Ros who cleaned our room on a daily basis. We thank you so much for the hard work you put in to keep us comfortable. A huge shout out to the beach / pool guys who were all absolutely amazing, and attended to our every need with that beaming and warming smile. One person in particular was Harris who was absolutely exceptional and I only hope that every hotel guest will experience the wonderful welcome Harris offered and all the Apurva has to offer. He is definitely a staff member to be recognised and valued. We have known Haris since our first visit in 2023 and we do value him and consider him as a friend too. Haris works tirelessly with the other members of the team to make our stay so welcome and relaxing. In addition, a huge thank you to Willy his Manager for our kind anniversary moment which we certainly weren't expecting. You go over and beyond what we ever wanted or ever expected. We enjoyed our morning chats to say hello and greet us when we went off to breakfast (or the sunbed!) The other guys who made our time there special need to be given praise too for their hard work - thank you to Adit - keep making those Aperol the way you do and those amazing cocktails! Thank you also goes out to Agus, Edwin, Juni, Yoga, who became “friends from last year” and a thank you to Weda, Suada, Bobby, Sahadewa and Niko on the beach. For our sunset bar drinks, thank you to Guesde, Gangga and Indra. We apologise if we have missed anyone off but you all deserve commendation for the hard work you do to ensure everyone is looked after. Another BIG thank you is to the beach guys, namely Arta, Riangga, Suwika, Mulia, Rimuadi, Raka and Suarsa. You all ensured my husband had some shade while I loved being in the sun. You all work hard for the safety and comfort of your guests all day long. Suwika, thank you for the Aloe. My husband loved his breakfast at the Reef Beach club where there is a huge variety of options from American, Australian, English, Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese options. Plus A la carte options. My husband especially enjoyed his milk and English tea! The Pala roof top bar is a must - spectacular views of the hotel at night with a chilled vibe. Just the perfect way to have a “night cap” before returning to your room. The staff there are excellent and the service is meticulous. A special thank you needs to go to Ignatia our Lady in Red. We had never used this service until last year but she was exceptional and had genuine feelings about caring for our holiday. Thank you for doing this for our holiday and especially making it extremely memorable on our arrival and our wedding anniversary. Her experience continues to exceed our expectations every time. Now we return, the staff aren't just staff, they are our friends and thank you for making us feel so special on our holiday. The question is how are we ever going to stay away from this place - it’s just magical with very caring staff who work extremely hard to ensure your holiday is perfect. We recommend this hotel with 110/10. One last thank you to the previous manager Mr Weiss who kindly kept in touch with us so we could return, however we met the new manager Philipp Poegl who introduced us to say hello and goodbye. That is what this hotel has, a very personal touch to it, even as big as it is, its very personable. Mr Poegl it was very lovely to meet you and also on departure and put a face to the name. One last shout goes to the gardeners who work in the background to make the gardens looking so immaculate and as beautiful as they are as you walk through the grounds. It is truly paradise. Thank you all again, we miss you all. It is not goodbye, we will meet again one day.
