The Mulia

We have returned to the Mulia Resort Bali after 10 years and it is still great! The property seems ageless since when we last stayed. The rooms are large and comfortable, well maintained after all these years. Same goes for the rest of the facilities. The kids club is one of the strongest points - packed with activities and accepts children below 3. F&B options are plentiful, we especially liked the food at Soleil. Perhaps the minor compliant is that almost everything at the breakfast buffet was the same for 3 straight days. We look to return at a future date.

We couldn’t recommend this resort enough, by far one of the most impressive stays we have had as a family. Out butler Andre went above and beyond for us, always greeting us with a smile and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The entire team at the Mulia were professional and friendly and the resort itself was 10/10 Already looking forward to our next visit!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at The Mulia this year over Christmas. The facilities are excellent, particularly the pools, which quickly became a favourite for our children. They are spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed to allow children to play freely. Our kids had an absolute ball, and the ease with which families could spend entire days enjoying the grounds was a considerable pleasure. The food was exquisite. Each meal was carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavour, with a range that catered equally well to adults and children. Dining never felt like a necessity to manage, but rather a highlight of the day—relaxed, satisfying, and consistently enjoyable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They were unfailingly kind, patient, and attentive, especially with our children. Their warmth and good humour created an environment in which our family felt comfortable and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. This is a hotel that clearly understands the rhythms of family travel: the need for space, flexibility, and moments of genuine delight. We left with happy children, lasting memories, and a strong desire to return. I would confidently recommend The Mulia to families seeking a friendly, comfortable, and thoroughly enjoyable stay in Bali.

This is a most exceptional hotel group, we have stayed at the resort (once) and the villas (twice) previously and the Mulia suites did not disappoint, rather they set an even higher standard. The views and the benefits are obviously incredible, but the staff are what set this place apart from other hotels I have been to around the world, they are special, welcoming, helpful, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. I cannot rave about all of them enough. Obviously we go because of the hotel, the location and the service, but honestly it is the people that make the place the most special hotel for me anywhere.
