Well, the Ritz did it again! What an amazing experience. This visit with my mother was different from others because we had the blessing to be able to stay at a different hotel for a week prior to our week at the Ritz. Maybe it is because these stays were back to back, but we truly "felt" why the Ritz has such a high rating. The staff is comprised of some of the kindest people I have ever met. Roel from the beach staff, Dialma from Guest Services, Adela from Solanio, Natalya and Maxine from the Spa, Cristian from the front desk, Daniel from BLT, and Keanue from the Casino were some individuals that really stood out during our stay. Some of my favorite parts of the trip was having an opportunity to speak with these individuals. Obviously the property is gorgeous and can be described by the spectacular photos but what the pictures cannot show you is the level of safety at this property. As two women traveling alone, there was not a single moment where I felt uncomfortable or felt as though I could not walk the property solo day or night. It is not that there is bountiful amount of security, but rather the staff cultivate this culture. This hotel is marvelous for families and couples, but for those solo travelers out there, do not overlook this property!

Returned yesterday after a week stay during our fourth visit in the past five years. Missed one year during Covid. Great hotel, atmosphere and most importantly the people who work there. Much quieter than the other larger properties along the strip which is exactly what we prefer.

We spent 14 nights here in April. We’re big Ritz-Carlton fans and enjoyed many aspects of this property. The hotel enjoys a quiet location on a beautiful beach within walking distance of several good restaurants. We stayed in a King Ocean front view room which was spacious with a large bathroom with separate shower & bath and a great balcony to watch sunset. Housekeeping was erratic, sometimes turndown happened and sometimes it didn’t. We raised this several times and received an apology and compensation. Overall the standard of room service fell below the standards we've seen at other Ritz-Carltons (toiletries not replaced, not vacuumed every day, dirty ice closet). We were unimpressed by the quality and range of food at breakfast - incidentally we bumped into Louella Brezobar, Hotel Manager, one morning who was appalled to hear we described breakfast as “simply ok”. From that moment we enjoyed an excellent breakfast experience with the chef cooking for us one morning & the whole team at Solanio acknowledging our concerns. We’d like to thank the entire breakfast team for surprising and delighting us and for their warmth and sincerity in addressing our concerns. We loved Casa Nonna, food and service were first class as was our experience at BLT. Overall, a very good stay but with the potential to be so much better - a more visible management presence may well address the issues we experienced.

We booked an engagement dinner on the beach at the Ritz Carlton it was such a beautiful evening. Our server Evelynn was fabulous and made our night even more special. The musician was lovely- we were given roses to take home with us. The food was AMAZING!!! The tuna tartare was fabulous, everything about it was perfect! Highly recommend this experience!
